Today is my 10th sky-birthday. Started 15 may 2002 in Skydive Miami, Homestead, FL. 1870 jumps 5 reserve rides (3 cutaways) Still have my 1st rig, a 5th hand Talon Had 1 cutaway on each sports rig I owned Tandem rating, around 150 jumps Rigger ratings, 280 packjobs, 6 saves 3 BASE jumps Wingsuit coach rating Swiss POPS 247 OOPV No reported broken bones Enjoying all disciplines I have tried for now. Going to discover CReW this year hopefully lost too many friends. But happy they got to become friends. This activity brought me more than anything else, but has also taken so much. Discovered beautiful people. Where do I sign for the next 10 years ? Many thanks to Karine my ex girlfriend of 10 years ago who persuaded my friends that a tandem jump for a present would make me happy. what we do over here in Switzerland is try to get the best Airfield/neighbourhood communication and relation possible. Regularly keep them informed on what we do for noise abatement, show them how we regulate ourselves to try and limit flight related disturbance, sometimes also invite them to our parties, and organize a yearly "neighbourhood dinner". Also sometimes try and talk them into coming for a flight in the plane or a tandem jump.
