Yeah, I didn't watch the game.. but I did skim over it... wasn't the score like 17 to 8 at one point.....so sad...
-
Morgan and I had fun exploring Bed Bath and Beyond the other day ... be sure she shows you the bed stuff we picked out... You'll like it.... I agree with the people who posted already ... Dillards (or maybe Foleys) and target (hell yeah!) are good ideas... I always remember buying flatware/dishes and things from department stores for people getting married... Good luck, dude!

Me! Texas A&M Univeristy student!

Go Astros!! We're winning this one!! HELL YEAH!!

See... my vote would have to be caffiene... because it's a physical addiction.... I would feel like crap and be tired all the time (at least in the beginning)... take away my internet and I'll go find something else to do.... same with my cell phone and the TV (which I don't watch much as it is).... I think I might actually go all of tomorrow- no internet! (I would say Saturday as well, but I'm at the dz and that would be too easy)..
-
Which would be the hardest to give up? I was thinking of locking down my internet for two days to see how it goes... and then I started thinking... So which one would be the hardest? I've decided: after 7 pm... no more internet access for me until Saturday at 7 pm. wish me luck

yeah we are!!!

Hey thanks, that was probably one of the best suggestions yet... The Corrs are not exactly a band to run to...
-
Ok, I'm not a big fan of that one (Such Great Heights)... it seems like the same thing over and over again... But thanks for the suggestion...
-
Honestly, I'm looking for tunes to run to... the same old stuff gets boring... what do you suggest dave? (only one requirement: gotta have lyrics!! not instrumental only)
-
Hey, thanks. Nice suggestions... I like them. They remind me a bit of Yellowcard
-
I'm looking for 'high energy' songs... songs with fast tempos... I do not want to hear people screaming or yelling or anything else annoying ... and I'm not a huge fan of rap, either. Any suggestions?

Fitness people! How to minimize soreness from a workout?
SarahC07 replied to Rebecca's topic in The Bonfire
Okay, here are my thoughts... The more consistently you do things (on a regular basis) the less painful it will become. A beginning runner will probably be sore after the first day or running, regardless... I have also been told (don't know if its true or not): That your body burns even more calories repairing muscles that you have hurt or damaged. So, sore muscles are not totally bad. However I'm sure you could seriously injure yourself.... so... I have no idea. I like mildly sore muscles... I'm a fitness person, in that I exercise habitually ... I don't study it. My routine: warm up, stretch, warm-up, run, cool down, stretch. -
No idea what is going on in Chicago... but I'm gonna be there in December... I'm staying at the Palmers House Hilton. Check it out. (google it ).

Not able to sleep? That was me just a few months ago. I stopped drinking caffiene after 2 pm and I started running 3 or 4 miles around 8 PM.... Now, I can sleep like a baby. Give it a try

Yeah, I do believe you and I both are mad cow disease free... You'd think they'd give us a test to see if we're clean or something... I tried 3 times to donate and they turned me away... But ya never know, I may just go CrAzY one day !!!

MMmmm.. so what is for dinner? For me? Chicken, corn and some salad (with ranch dressing and parmesan cheese) Oh yeah and when does this presidential debate start?
-
Well shit. I'm really healthy!! I do not believe I have *ever* received a flu shot and I don't think I've had more than a sore throat and maybe a slight cough ... ever... or as far back as I can remember.... But, hell, I lived in England in the 1980's so I can't donate blood. Interesthing thread. It's all about each individual I guess...

They make peanut butter with honey in it... now THAT's good stuff...

What happens when you get a speeding ticket in your state?
SarahC07 replied to sunshine's topic in The Bonfire
Only $75 bucks? How much over the limit were you going? I unfortunately was caught going 30 over... But I was only written a ticket for 19 (I think the cop was being nice... because had I been going 20 over my ticket would have been much more expensive, because I was most definitely going 95 in a 65 )... BUT the damn ticket was like $260 or something crazy like that... that's if I just wanted to pay it off....(and I didn't). Seeing as how it was my first speeding ticket, I paid the court fees of $97 (which are unavoidable... I didn't even go to court!!!) and then took on-line defensive driving (SUCKED MAJORLY) which was $45 and then I had to send a copy of my driving record to the court house and THAT was like an additional $20 or something crazy... I learned my lesson... HA- But I still speed... I'm a defensive driver now.... I watch for cops... -

Yeah, thats weird. Although... it is probably a good system. Get one here in Texas and you just gotta pay lots of money... as I'm sure you do elsewhere.
