What did you have surgery for?

Sadly, I'm not currently jumping. Some where in my recent transition to adulthood, I realized how much money I was wasting on jumping, so I stopped. If I had twice as much disposable income, I might be jumping. But alas, I do not - such is life, I suppose.

Ya know what's interesting? Of the 5 people who responded and did NOT repeat all the questions in their response, almost all of them were males. Interesting.

1)Have you ever stayed with a guy after he cheated more than once? I've been cheated on once and I dropped him, fast and never turned back. 2)Stayed with him even thought he never remembers any b/day,v/day etc.. Yes. There are so many other things in a relationship that matter so much more. 3)He doesnt call for days, but when he does gives big excuse and gets laid anyway Nope, never had this situation arise. 4) humiliates you in public. Never experienced this one, either. I generally date pretty upstanding guys.

Yeah, good show. I have uverse and all HBO on demand, so I wasted a good chunk of my life watching episodes 1-9. Episode 10 is on this evening at 8 pm CST. I'm excited. :-) Are they really ending the series?

Welp, I did it. I had knee surgery this morning for a partially torn patellar tendon and chondromalacia petalla. 50/50 chance of improving my situation. Doc had to make a 2 inch incision just below the knee cap. I'm maxed out on my pain meds, still in pain and on crutches for at least the next week. 3 months of down time before I can even consider any high impact activities (my activity of choice - running); only 6 weeks before i can give low impact activities a try. AND I'm already BORED. Help Please help.

I'm going to have chime in on this. My worst experience with Tech fans: I was in close proximity to 4 Tech Fans on the home side of Kyle Field when A&M played Tech. I won't go into the details, but the Tech fans spit on the Aggie student body during a few yells. They spit. A long spit. It was gross. Be obnoxious and carry on loudly while all the aggies around you are 'yelling' - that's fine. But spit? Seriously? It was ridiculous.

The *second* best part: When the Tech fans rushed the field with 1 second on the clock remaining... and Tech was penalized, not once... but TWICE for unsportsmanlike conduct. Get off the fucking field! Ah, what do I care! I'm an Aggie and Texas just lost, and to Tech. What do I do? I must say that the Texas fans I've encountered at Kyle Field have been waaaaaay more respectful than any Tech fans I've encountered. *shrugs* I'm just happy Texas ate it.

I don't necessarily agree with ditching this person immediately, either. Distance the sensitive aspects of your personal life from him? Absolutely. Without a doubt - immediately. I would go so far as to change the locks on my door to keep this person out. Credit card information should not be accessible to anyone not listed on the account... Immediately pissing someone off who has access to your personal information is never a good idea. never. Perhaps I'm crazy... But I think many skydivers suffer from some sort of 'disease' or strange behavior or wth you want to call it. We're all a little bit crazy. (I am in no way justifying this person's behavior). Ask why? And let him know if you think you'll be able to trust him again or not. It's just a matter of how far you are willing to go to care for this person. Is he close enough to you to be treated as family? Before this incident did you consider him one of your best friends? Has this person betrayed your trust before? Why is he being defensive? How long have you known him? I probably didn't explain this all that well. I have a very close friend of mine who is a bit crazy - not crazy in the way you have described, but he behaves in a manner that most people would think is really off the wall sometimes. I know him well enough to understand it and accept it. And I care enough about him to not ditch him when he does something a bit crazy.

I've had a few issues with it recently ... it'll just refuse to load a couple of pages. But it appears to be working fine, now.

He could read about 1/2 of the license plate. I'll bet the guys get away it though. We did have a 5 car cop party in the parking lot, so that was interesting.

I have a 9 mm under my bed and I thought about getting it, but I didn't get close to the guys. The guy who lives above me, however, said that when he came out he saw them ramming the gate and told them they'd have to go around. They didn't pop a cap on him, so I figured they were relatively harmless. If the whole event had taken much longer, I probably would have snagged it under a sweatshirt or something. I'm just annoyed that I'm awake this early...

Just finished talking to the cops. We had a visitor in the parking area of my apt complex RAMMING our freakin exit gate at 3:30 this morning. My bedroom, on the first floor, is literally about 10 feet from the gate. So I woke up to a loud crash and assumed I was dreaming. Then I heard people talking outside, thought maybe not, and ventured outside. The guy that lives above me is on the phone with 911 reporting the a-holes who thought it was a good idea to go into the gated parking area, break into some cars, steal some stuff and then RAM the exit gate to get out. The guy above me got in their faces and told them to go around. 20 minutes later HPD shows up and the criminals are gone. We saw them haul ass out the exit gate. Needless to say, I'm wired on adrenaline right now and will have a hard time going back to sleep.
