Hehe, it would be probably a good idea, but not on for 12 year old racer elite :) It is my first rig and I dont think I'm going invest much into it. On the other side, there's in plans to order a new one, which will include that option, of course.

I know, it is already a subject to replace on next rig maintenance, as well as longer bridle. Not sure if i should do something with corners, since that racer is already fairly loose :)
-
Jumping an old racer with pilot140@1.2 inside, standard bridle, 28" or 26" non-collapsible PC, smooth openings either from full flights or with wings collapsed. Last one ended up with a cutaway, but that was definite packjob problem, so that doesnt count :D

What would be requirements for participants?
-
Navrak doesnt look too freefly/wingsuit friendly :) Those HUD thingies arent on public yet as well, I suppose?

Did anyone ever bothered making a simple flight-plan route with gps waypoints and then following it precisely? I mean, some setup with pda/gps/headphones similiar to that one but with a map with several waypoints and an audio like "turn left" or whatever. edit to make link clicky.

Look, you can have much weddings in your live, but there wont be another F&D3!

yep. i AM stupid, no big deal at all :) An ontopic - FAQ and search can do wonders if properly used.

Thanks Rod for such informative answer. Just returned from boogie, made about 20 flights (weather was kinda sucky) and thought that i'm not going to allow anyone to ride me - cause i dont want turn two-minute flight into one-minute yet :)
-
pssst! actually, read previous ontopic threads and situation is quite clear now.

What are common sense requirements for successful wingsuit rodeo jump? What should be considered first, how many flights should pilot have in general, which skills are required from passenger and how to video this thingy? Have a gf whose birthday is quite soon and want make her such a gift :) Currently I have four flights, which is definitely not enough, but after boogie next week going to have about 50.

Okay, update on topic. did two normal flights, in 1st one felt myself somehow uncomfortable and pitched at 1700m, on second flight did solid 100 seconds, tried stall and enjoyed in overall. log of 2nd flight is here: http://static.flickr.com/64/226876938_3ac2c41307_o.jpg interesting, that altitrack decided that i deployed at 2625. Now I can say "welcome to the flock" to myself :)

Did my first and second flights this weekend. Phantom, solo, exit alt. 1100m, deploy alt. 700m, about 15 seconds each flight. Definitely, more altitude required :) Wings are nice.

Thanks for replies, especially about jumpshack custom rig :) I already own a racer, thus jumpshack is a kind of a good setup for me.

Someday down the road I would really like to have a few intentional cutaways. Let's figure I have a tertiary canopy setup in the form of a harness worn under my regular skydiving rig. I would like to learn of a method whereby I can _safely_ deploy my tertiary canopy without assistance. How would it have to be packed? Where would it be held? In setups like these, do you normally route your tert-canopy risers on the inner side of your regular risers, or on the outer? I do not plan to try any advice posted on here without extensive discussion, the DZO's approval and proper training first; but I would like to build some knowledge base upon which to ask questions to local folks. Thanks!

Well, finally i got some in-flight photos made by myself. I'm not a cameraman yet, thus i installed my trustworthy nikon d70 under the chest strap and that's what i got (see attachment) Color layout is higher on thread.

a picture, which were used for t-shirts, with a scruffy cat with jumpshack racer on its back, scratching owner's back. looked through jumpshack site, it seems they had it a few ago, but now either it is gone, or i didnt found it. anyone?

Well, how fast a dildo will fall? faster than a skyball, slower? Planning a fun jump, why not.
-
I vote for not only 10th, but every 10th jump!

Here in Russia, we do that this way: http://www.flickr.com/photos/helxen/tags/poi/

Repeated level 1, mostly because there was about a year delay between tandem and this jump. 2nd 1st level went smoothly as well, as the rest of AFF.

LET 410 - Bye bye from Australia
helxen replied to DanglesOZQld's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
On my aff5 jump, there were 9 people in a "deluxe" load on L410, that was fun :) -
Hereby, i repudiate your pestulant expostulations!
