  1. 54h? Just curious, what substance did you eat?
  2. phantom/sfly/v2, 250 flights, pilot140@1.2 and it's 1km, not 3k feet :P
  3. Good point, Jarno, thanks :)
  4. just my $.02 - you already have one, truly. :) (i'd rather spend those money to jumping than a new blade)
  5. Well, when we could pre-order v3, that's the question!
  6. it's like g-spot. many discussed, but few really saw.
  7. And way less pronounced thoughts about finances, i'd say :D
  8. As for myself I made it mandatory for any wingsuit flight. Open in a spot upwind of dz, in case of EP it would be tons easier to track down the canopy in regular landing zone instead of surroundings (forest, rivers, etcetera)
  9. You probably get a few varied explanations, but this is your best answer. i'm second that. it just different :D
  10. I have both of them, though not using them in base enviroment yet. Sfly is less physically stressful since you're placed inside the monowing, and there's no much tension on hands as in phantom. Both suits fly almost equal, but you have to get used to body position in monowing, it's a bit different from one you have in tri-wings. Once you get it, you'll feel it. I like both, but since i have more hours spent in phantom, i'd choose it for anything new, be it base or whatever. I'd say, put few jumps on sfly and check which one is more comfy for yourself. And then flip a coin. :)
  11. Essentially nothing new, but being put alltogether it makes a nice article. Thanks.
  12. It's suit, not pilot. Demo both and find which suit suits you better. Look, i didnt say anything about jumpnumbers in profile :P
  13. is it that flight with flight-data-never-to-be-posted?
  14. Dont remember if this has been posted here before. http://palansarn.livejournal.com/35992.html

    Suit input...

I have my own profile here for 3 years already, no, honestly! (and nickname is 10 years old already, aswell) As for trying to keep ontopic, would you agree that ghost is more convenient choice for flocking for a midrange pilot, compared to bullets like blade or v2? (i assume flocks with somewhat bent knees, as most of them currently are) p.s. i prefer performance solo or two-way flights, that's why i'm up for v2 (yes, that's bad marketing by birdman in russia, i dont see enough blades here, but could demo one on first ocassion!)

I'm not Lena, but Vlad, Jarno :P circa 250 flights total, few dozens in v1/v2 and sfly, vast majority is phantom. And yes i'm pf addict, flame on.

what's your primary sub-discipline in wingsuit flying? flocking == ghost performance == v2 or blade (let holywars begin!) v2 is better. hanging in midst of nowhere == GS1 or M1
  18. have you ever tried to jump up from the ground with straight legs spread wide? not an easy task, especially on mountain slope with 40m/sec wind blowing into your face :D
  19. We were doing speedriding in crimea mountains this december, also i've managed to put some wingsuit flight w/o rig on. Landings were, umm, funny. (see pic attached)
  20. with no zippers at all we could order one for those cochshtedt striptease girls! will take hours to remove it!
  21. I bet that Jarno would even agree that bungee-oriented wingsuit can have no cutaway cables, but just zippers!
  22. neehh..just russians, impatient people and a few dead guys... being formal and tedious, only ws fatality which could be caused by low experience didnt happen in russia, eh? those survived call that "well, i was stupid, but somehow i've managed to realise it" :)
