To those that may know I was applying for a new job in similar line of work as my voluntary role. Well I got it! Passed the assesments long time ago, just passed the fitness test and medical today. Start in a month Very pleased with myself. Be nice to finally be on the payroll. The only surprise was the pay has changed..... its gone up an extra £2000 pounds Yes, I owe beer. I know its not a first but its important all the same

It's quite simple, much like UK law if someones actions cause another harrasment, alarm or distress thats an offence. This includes signs or banners. For example 'support your troops', 'RIP' etc would all be fine but this 'God hates gays' etc would be illegal and I'm amazed its not over your neck of the woods. It is a hate crime whether they believe in it as its their religion or not.

Have I misunderstood this or are they saying its outrageous that foreign children should be expected to take the same language skills test? I'm sorry but if I moved to Russia tomorrow and went to a Russian literature class, I'd expect to be behind everyone else. Tough shit, chin up and get on with things instead of bitching about how things are too difficult. Fuck their self esteem, if they are shit at reading, its fairer they know they are below par and can take extra tuition or whatever.

I think that sounds like a good idea, its something that your authorities need to look in. You should write off to your local councillor or whatever the equivalent is of what we call our local MP (member of parliament)

Seems you guys shot yourself in the foot. So scared about excessive use of police powers and protecting your own interests that the legislation available to officers is severely limited letting tossers like this do as they please. Sad I hope those bikers catch up with them and sort them out

If you mean it was a high wind day then the landing should have been slower. I take it you mean the windsock was hanging down without moving in which case yeah it can be a bit faster. I'd say definately talk it out with your (or rather get her to chat to her) instuctors, show them the video too -

Yeah but travelling to the States from the UK is expensive. It might not make the trip that much of a bargain. Spain is cheap. I'd highly recommend Empuriabrava, can't comment on the quality of instruction though, I only went for fun jumping.

Really you can get the cables for £5 here But yeah, I can see how not having something to play cassettes in the first place makes it difficult

You should be able to plug a stereo system through your computer and record as an MP3 through the line in input. Then burn it to CD. As its only cassette and the quality was never great to start with you can probably do it with a simple male to male small phono cable
