  1. Don't worry mate, we have the same, everyone thinks London is the bees knees but its a shit hole. The worst thing is people who don't live in London acting like they are cheeky cockney geezers (living about 50 miles South of tha capital there is alot of those round here) If people live near they even say they live in London when they don't! How sad is that 'Live in London innit' 'No you dont John, you live in Kent'
  2. I think I approve of this. Let me get it right, too many negatives in one setance... if there is a state of emergancy no-one will have the right to take weapons away from the members of public (who had a right to own them anyway). This seems good but how would you store your weapons securely if, for example, a hurricane or flood had destroyed your home? Thats the only concern
  3. Maybe hes taken a leaf out of the Krusty the Clown book of Faking Your Own Death and taken it a step furthur
  4. It's an offence People swear in conversation all the time but meaning nothing by it, its just the sad state of peoples language nowadays. I am a culprit for it most definately. If, however, someone is directing insults and swearing at another person then they should be dealt with accordingly. Just because I wear a uniform does that mean I should put up with abuse. Afraid not, in fact having a duty to preserve the peace and uphold respect for the law I am MORE likely to take action rather than let it slide. Its not about a power trip although, of course, showing someone the error of their ways is always amusing
  5. Being an apartment block I hope its only a tragic accident... somehow
  6. Oh what a shame the Darkness are splitting. Thats just as sad as if Scissors Sisters split. I have dreams of moments like that sometimes
  7. Thats odd... but I ask what was indecent about it if there was noone there to see (excluding security). Seems a bit over the top.
  8. So as I hear on the news today North Korea is paticularly pissed off with the interest coming from America and said that any furthur attempts to disrupt their testing program will be taken as a declaration of war
  9. Lol no. I just like the picture of the officers with the St Georges flag in between them.
  10. Maybe you'll see yourself on some hidden camera show in the near future
  11. Sorry mate, swearing in a public place is an offence over here. S5 public order act. I'd let it go if it was swearing in general conversation but directed at me... no way. So therefore, no its not a made up offence and it is how I would and have acted and I consider myself very professional. I'm very patient and will take alot of messing around and give people time and a chance, but as soon as it gets stupid like that you have to take action else every idiot would be out there disrespecting police officers. We are not paid to take that abuse, bearing in mind of course, its only one third of the big mans wage. Plus I think its safe to say he would have failed my attitude test.
  12. So why were you doing aerobics at the school again?
  13. Standing your ground is good if you know your in the right, but talk like this... ...just makes you sound like a cunt as its irrelevant and unneccesary. If you spoke to me like that you'd have been nicked. Then you have a very sad empty life.
  14. THE FILTHY BASTARDS!! Haven't they got anything better to do huh like go and catch.... uh, no wait.
  15. Beats bombing us when we're fighting alongside you *joke*
  16. No shit sherlock. You are very bright, that is the point I was making, impact factors effect on a spontaneous situation. I then followed it up with 'we don't have an accurate account' but given what we know, which is currently: 'man attacked by another man, man shot', there is something out of proportion in a response, agreed. Maybe he was 9 foot tool with arms like tree trunks and ate a small puppy as some pre-fight ritual... but probably not. If we don't have the facts, we can't comment and therefore saying, wow, what a hero for killing someone who attacked him is wrong too.
  17. Dude, I didn't say guns are bad. I'm actually in favour of people carrying them if they are responsible. I feel public should be allowed them From whats been written so far its a perfect example of why some people shouldnt be allowed guns as opposed to a success story... in my opinion. I just feel this report is lacking in enough detail to ascertain whether it was justified. Also if you knew me you wouldn't label me part of the purple pansy patch. I put myself on the line all the time in the interest of public safety
  18. I'm sorry but using a gun on an (assumed) unarmed man raises questions. Unless the man being attacked was 180 years old, suffering from brittle bone disease, 4' 10" of lsight build and never been in fight in his life it doesn't add up. This doesn't condone the attackers actions, but, obviouslly, a firearm is a lethal use of force. I'm not so sure that an attack would require that level of repsonse else it would be reasonable for police to turn up to pub fights and shoot everyone involved I can only guess that the guy was off his tits on drugs which would change things. I just wish for once we could have an unbiased report. A true account of what hapened as oppsed to a story with an agenda
  19. In the heat of the moment, shit happens, you react and do things. You think on a primitive level. You might have a better shot placement than that on the range, but in a high stress situation when your heart rate is increased and you have the tunnel vision effect of confrontation you wont be able to do fine motor skills, gross motor skills come into play, pointing and shooting would therefore be reasonable. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have concious thought of 'I know, if I shoot centre mass theres less chance of a stray' - You think instinctively. Either way it justifys the defenders actions. Still think its sad someone had to die over that. Gun is the weak mans leveller. I'm sure if he had fought hard enough and with a bit of support from a good natured member of the public or two he'd have been alright. Reports has no mentions of attacker having weapons
  20. Sounds extreme but I'd be wary of media reports. He may have been a shitbag harrassing people by throwing projectiles into the crowd but this is the version of events that got told to the media. If its true its crazy, if not... well done cop for thinking outside the box and finding a way of dealing with this idiot
  21. Pah, he can come over and kiss my hairy arse crack (not ass) - Ill make sure I don't wash it and collect loadsa clingons so they can get stuck in his teeth
