    it's on MSN now, the general consensus is that it must be fake, it is a stunt man in a wig, woo hoo deservedly so, this guy has been beat up but how does this stuff happen, wondering 3 things: - how can a tandem passenger walk around a DZ, and board a plane with critical safety straps hanging down, does no one look at each other's gear? - how can the 3 experienced jumpers nearest the exit participate in the activity or just let it happen - does no one have any sense? - how does the TI get the passenger back into a vertical position for landing? the video doesn't appear to show her hanging upside down, great job for that Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together.     looking at the 1:00 minute mark it appears that the back strap is hanging down and not even connected, and the TI is carrying her cane while standing in the door trying to force her to go, you can see the top straps at the connectors are already too loose - found myself yelling at the screen - DON'T JUMP Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together.     Here's an example of just that scenario. So it seems the answer is "yes", at least in Florida. By the way, I think the system got it right in this specific case. Don thx, agree that they got it right in that case the example I was attempting to describe is when a person knowlingly stalks someone else with the hope that the stalkee would start a fight so that they could use the gun, if those were the facts it doesn't seem right that the stalker should be able to use a SYG defense in the TM case based on what the public currently knows, to me it seems that Mr Z should not be convicted all I'm saying is that it is possible that TM may have felt threatened and decided to proactively defend himself, overall a tragedy Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together.     The law doesn't allow you to draw the gun simply because you're losing the fight, so your problem is already solved. Nope. Since the scenario doesn't fall under SYG, his problem is just beginning....starting with arrest for murder or manslaughter or some such. I was pointing out the flaw in his scenario, where he thought you could draw the gun just because you were losing. Admittedly, I could have been more clear. --------------------------------------- guys, to clarify - if I was jumped by the guy that I was following , was being beaten and was afraid for my life, would using the gun be legal?     IMO stand your ground is OK but here is my issue I have this kid that I don't like, so I pack a gun and follow him at night, he notices me and gets nervous, he is afraid that I will jump him once he turns a dark corner, so he decides to protect himself and jumps me, the young kid is kicking my fat butt so I draw my gun to protect myself, now that the kid is dead my story is the only one that gets told not stating that this is what happened but based on what we know it is possible there needs to be a way to prevent this Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together.     the DOE goal is to drive up the cost of energy by regulating anything and everything, taxing what they can, not allowing exploration of native reserves and allowing EPA free rein to go crazy CA bought into this foolishness and look what happened, many industries left the state and green stuff is everywhere eventually the green stuff will be cost competitive everywhere in SC they are talking about offering a 35% tax incentive for solar, is that stupid or WHAT, tax everyone so that the state can artifically support an industry and technology that is not cost effective, the solar availability here is really low Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together.     depends on how many a "handful" is, if your talking 10, 20, 30 or so the smart thing would be to sit through an AFF course, thoroughtly review emergency procedures and jump with an instructor you will be surprised how much you have forgotten, and the gear may have changed if you don't plan to return to jumping then just make a tandem and tell them you have a few jumps and want to do turns, pull, etc. Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together.     I really have no idea and I really have no idea how many black people are racist. I was just pointing out that you cannot tell by the color of ones skin if they are racist or not. And in a poll like the one you posted you can have as many racist respondents on one side as the other. I don't know why I let you suck me into this stupid game you are playing...(well it is kinda fun) but will really make no difference in the long run.     so what does this say about folks ability to study and comprehend information in an unbaised fashion, seems that one group is 91% - 9% and the other is 35% - 65% - one of these groups seems to be more capable of unbaised thought of course none of us know all the facts of the case or what type individuals were interviewed to do this study, so the question is how far will you take this data to draw a conclusion to support your arguement, how open minded are you?     Had a two hour layover there on the way to Ecuador a few years ago. Was informed that the best thing was not to leave the plane, they would not be responsible for our safety and would leave on time - with or without you. Maybe things have changed.     Yes, kids deserve a full time parent. If they are lucky enough to actually know who their biological parents are that is a plus. IMHO too many folks sacrifice the opportunity to raise their kids in exchange for working so they can have more stuff. I laugh at my coworkers that complain about their kids, their bad behavior, poor morals, arrests, etc. - uhhh, it's no wonder, they were raised in daycare by other people that obviously didn't share your morals. A poll asking kids a question like this would be interesting: Thinking about your childhood, would you prefer to have a parent at home everyday when you got home from school to help with homework, play, etc., or would you prefer a bigger house, newer car, and more stuff? Granted, some folks MUST work and they do the best they can, but many don't need to work. Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. I vote for Chicago where they have strict gun laws.

    guess that parent didn't know about the bedding that has a pocket on the side of the mattress to hold a handgun, some styles have multiple pockets to accomodate them being flipped and rotated they are not advertised but I predict that once someone saves their life using a weapon that was concealed this way they will become a spokesperson Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together.     one thing we know for sure is that none of us know the details but wonder what would happen, under FL law, if someone had a gun, followed someone else that perceived that they were being stalked/threatened that person couldn't escape and choose to stop and fight (in their mind they were defending themselves), jumped on the stalker and was hitting him, stalker pulls the gun and bang under FL law is this OK Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together.
