Where in SC? You working on the nuke plant in Jenkinsville? Skydive Carolina, and on the way The Farm in Georgia Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. I vote for Chicago where they have strict gun laws.

PEX pipe is the way to go. I'm working on a whole house renovation. Removed all the old and went back with PEX. Only one leak - idiot me forgot to crimp a fitting. It's flexible so it's easy to go around obstacles without having to cut n glue a fitting. Add shut-off valves and you can do the work in sections. Nice part is when you need to add something just cut it where you want, insert a tee, and go from there. I've done PVC and PEX is definitely easier. Down side is you won't be able to sniff that good PVC cleaner and glue. You could always get a small can just to remind yourself. Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. I just googled my name and this is what I found
billeisele replied to piisfish's topic in The Bonfire
all my family names return 1 or 2 hits interesting since - once my wife checked into a hotel, one hour later a guy with the same last name showed up and they gave him a key to her room, when he walked in I'm not sure which one was more surprised they were both teachers attending the same meeting Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. leave them at home, and the kids too - if you bring the kids and you get hurt then what? - don't ask me to watch your kids, that is not why I'm there - if they stay after sundown, don't tell me to "watch what I say, they're kids around" - etc. - I love dogs and kids, just not at the adult playground Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. Alabama vs Notre Dame - The BCS National Championship Game thread

AL might be able to beat SC but they don't want any of this Chuck Norris even ordered a #7 jersey Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. I vote for Chicago where they have strict gun laws. -
standard = old school straight skis, like black-n-white movies old parabolic or shaped skis = tapered, the center of the ski is narrower than the tip and tail, all different combinations of taper when you tilt your boot to the side, the tip and tail engage the snow and start the turn Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. looks like everyone is enjoying another energy discussion, sorry I'm late when the wind stops and the sun goes away the folks expect the good 'ole power company to supply all the kWhs they need, of course they don't want to pay the full price for for this, they also want rebates and subsidies to install the green stuff, those costs are passed back to all consumers (shocking) just to be fair, there are subsidies on the other side also, how these two compare to each other is an interesting question one of my regular highlights is hearing a greenie exclaim, "the power company should pay me the full avoided cost for the power I produce" (they read about the term "avoided cost" and are so proud that they speak the lingo) when I ask them to educate me on the components of avoided cost and explain which components are actually being avoided their face goes blank, I call this clueless ignorance Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. I was going to post something about football but this is clearly not a football thread anyway - AL by 2 TD's and ND finds out what big boy SEC football is all about Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. I vote for Chicago where they have strict gun laws. -
Not to worry about the Hostess Bakery shut down, resulting in 18,000 laid-off workers. The government is going to help them all out. The Obama administration will hire all of these terminated employees: The State Department will hire the Twinkies, the Secret Service will hire the Ho Hos, the Army generals will sleep with the Cupcakes, and all the Ding Dongs are going to work for Congress. And the Muslims get appointed to leadership positions in national security agencies. Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. I vote for Chicago where they have strict gun laws.

isn't it interesting that one group can "win" by 1-2 or 5% then proclaim that they "have the support of the people" if any of them gave a hoot about the good of the country many issues would be easy to solve Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. Plan for converting all coal fired plants to renewables
billeisele replied to brenthutch's topic in Speakers Corner
the Greenies are crying in their tofu nuclear is non-emitting and a coal plant site is the perfect size for a SMR in the meantime the coal industry will sell coal to foreign markets where air emission standards are lax, net result is more air pollution - I guess this makes sense to a greenie or we could install wind turbines along the complete coast of SC about 2 miles wide to equal the generation of one nuke plant, of course no one could afford the power and if a hurricane came along that might be a problem but those are just minor details that the greenies want to ignore Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. 6 of the top ten teams are SEC, and their only losses are to other top ten SEC teams even great teams have issues with injuries when they get beat up each week, flip flop the K State, Oregon or Notre Dum schedules with Alabamas schedule and see what their win-loss would be if AL doesn't get in the championship game it will be another justification for a play off Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. billeisele replied to md202089's topic in Gear and Rigging
too many variables, depends on how you take care of it, sunlight, sand vs. no sand, etc. my Javelin is 14 years old and looks great, kept in a gear bag and then in the house, not dragged in the dirt, packed out of the sun on carpet, sees sand about once a year at the beach Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. Jack Wheeler is a brilliant man who was the author of Reagan's strategy to break the back of the Soviet Union with the star wars race and expose their inner weakness. For years Dr. Jack Wheeler wrote a weekly intelligence update that was extremely interesting and well structured and informative. He consults(ed) with several mega corporations on global trends and the future, etc. He is in semi-retirement now. He is a true patriot with a no-nonsense approach to everything. He is also a somewhat well-known mountain climber and adventurer. Written by Dr. Jack Wheeler The O-man, Barack Hussein Obama, is an eloquently tailored empty suit. No resume, no accomplishments, no experience, no original ideas, no understanding of how the economy works, no understanding of how the world works, nothing but abstract, empty rhetoric devoid of real substance. He has no real identity. He is half-white, which he rejects. The rest of him is mostly Arab, which he hides but is disclosed by his non-African Arabic surname and his Arabic first and middle names as a way to triply proclaim his Arabic parentage to people in Kenya . Only a small part of him is African Black from his Luo grandmother, which he pretends he is exclusively. What he isn't, not a genetic drop of, is 'African-American,' the descendant of enslaved Africans brought to America chained in slave ships. He hasn't a single ancestor who was a slave. Instead, his Arab ancestors were slave owners. Slave-trading was the main Arab business in East Africa for centuries until the British ended it. Let that sink in: Obama is not the descendant of slaves, he is the descendant of slave owners. Thus he makes the perfect Liberal Messiah. It's something Hillary doesn't understand - how some complete neophyte came out of the blue and stole the Dem nomination from her. Obamamania is beyond politics and reason. It is a true religious cult, whose adherents reject Christianity yet still believe in Original Sin, transferring it from the evil of being human to the evil of being white. Thus Obama has become the white liberals' Christ, offering absolution from the Sin of Being White. There is no reason or logic behind it, no faults or flaws of his can diminish it, no arguments Hillary could make of any kind can be effective against it. The absurdity of Hypocrisy Clothed In Human Flesh being their Savior is all the more cause for liberals to worship him: Credo quia absurdum, I believe it because it is absurd. Thank heavens that the voting majority of Americans remain Christian and are in no desperate need of a phony savior. His candidacy is ridiculous and should not be taken seriously by any thinking American. Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. I vote for Chicago where they have strict gun laws.

accurate to a point, the implication was that there are more pounds of toxic materials in the electric vehicle than a comparable gas vehicle Give one city to the thugs so they can all live together. I vote for Chicago where they have strict gun laws.

Reported today in EnergyBiz: "Just as the electric car market prepares to hit the pedal, professors at a Norwegian university are providing evidence they should apply the brakes. They are saying that the life-cycle production process is responsible for creating more greenhouse gas emissions than a conventional auto factory." "...the researchers are concluding that the “global warming potential” of current electric vehicles is twice that of those in prevailing automotive markets." "The analysis, penned by academics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and presented in the Journal of Industrial Ecology, expounds by saying that the toxic materials employed to build such cars exceeds traditional ones. Furthermore, they are adding that the fuels used to create the electricity are also important considerations, noting that if is coal then it may not be worth the environmental and economic costs." “The production phase of electric vehicles proved substantially more environmentally intensive,” says the report ... “It is counterproductive to promote electric vehicles in regions where electricity is primarily produced from lignite, coal or even heavy oil combustion.” "The researchers say that such toxic materials as aluminum, copper and nickel are used to make batteries and electric motors. They add that anyone contemplating the purchase of an electric vehicle should first ask about the underlying fuel that would supply the electricity. Presumably, such buyers are environmentally aware, the authors note, and should thus be concerned about increasing harmful emissions." "Whether plug-in electric cars turn out to be an environmental bonus or hazard depends on the math: They can emit less carbon dioxide than their counterparts in the conventional world. However, after the emissions at generating stations that supply their electrical power are figured in, they are unable to sustain that advantage, says a report issued in 2009 by the National Research Council." The greenies hate these reports. One reason is it's another indicator that nuclear energy production is good. Electric cars charged from a nuclear source look better.
