Right Bill, A hundred pound seat in a jet fighter is no big deal, and the Russians make a great rocket powered ejection seat that works extremely well at low altitudes. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/topgun/movparis.html The ejection seat for the Sukhoi 31/29 is genius. It is extremely lightweight and works great. It is a telescoping tube that ejects the pilot like an Acme product on the Roadrunner. You can see the dummy is under canopy at ejection altitude or so.

Just when you think South Park can't go more over the top....This weeks show was one for the books. I really felt like I was going straight to hell, and soon, for laughing so hard. What will they think of next. I love it when Cartman told Kyle that HE was the one with issues, he had seen Passion and knew that Kyle's people killed Jesus.

My Dad is going to be out of town all of a sudden and I have an extra ticket......You must at least know a bit about NASCAR and you must hate Jeff Gordon. I got all the radios, headsets and mabye a helicopter ride from my front yard to the speedway. The only thing that sucks is you have to drink beer in a 'beer garden' and not at your seat (Unless you pack your own cooler). Date is April 4.

I do when Im sitting in these seats...Enroute JFK-Buenos Aires on an American 777. When they came and asked if we wanted Vodka or Dom Champagne, we said "yes"...I can't begin to tell you how tanked we were after 11 hours of power drinking. Have you ever puked after eating a few tins of caviar? You dont want to, trust me.

What if the mauled 3 yr old was in safe hands and the ape was charging you? My point is, you can't fault the Cops for over reacting in this situation. The death of the ape is the fault of whoever forgot to lock the cage. Period. -

Well, I just talked to apple and I have a 4th 20GB iPod coming under warranty as well as my new mini. They told me I sounded like an honest guy (unless im talking to a girl) and that, even though it was technically out of warranty, they would replace it. I told them that they had just earned my lifelong business and word of mouth advertising. I went in and immediately ordered a new 17" Powerbook G4. I am going to make the switch to Mac finally. Im scared, going to Mac for the first time is like going down on a girl the first time. I heard it was good, but man, was it scary. BUY FROM APPLE - THEY BACK THEIR PRODUCT

I bought one of the 1st 20 GB iPods when they first came out. It lasted about 7 months then went dead. I have had it replaced under warranty 4 times now. I took the last 3 apart to see if I could see anything obvious. In all cases, it seems that the hard drive, made by Toshiba, had something rattling around in it. I treat my iPods fairly well but I believe the jarring from running and working out somehow damages the hard drive. The replacement ones were under warranty for a month and the last one lasted 5 weeks. I fianally gave up today and ordered a new iPod mini. I never quite filled the 20GB and the 4GB Mini will hold all of the stuff I listen to regulary. I opted for the $59 extended warranty, as I am afraid the mini will have problems too. Did anyone else have issues? Mike
