Why did you kick him out? If he was willing and trying to take care of you, kicking him out probably made him feel pretty shitty. He came here and said he was hungry so he left me in bed and disappeared for TWO hours... I was wondering where the hell he was and too weak to get out of bed and lost my voice, so just waited (I haven't eaten all day, btw, too tired to get up)... Turns out he was outside, chatting with the neighbour (and eating all my cookies)... When he came in, all I wanted was to cuddle, but he said he was exhausted and fell asleep, snoring loudly... It's not that he should be at my beck-and-call just because I'm sick, but I'm not a goddamned restaurant / hotel either. Still, it was rude to send him home... I don't know what kind of day he's had... In my defence, he did eat ALL MY COOKIES... Just don't. Write him one last message in which you tell him simply that he is a toxic influence and you will not be writing, calling, or answering anything he sends your way. I would recommend you keep it short instead of going into why. This is not for his benefit - you are simply making it easier for you not to feel guilted into responding (because you already said you wouldn't). And stick to it. Period. I recently got a drunken call from a guy who is clearly not good for me. I answered not knowing it was him (didn't recognise the number). It was a mistake to talk to him - I should have said firmly not to call me and that I was hanging up. The next day, I wrote him a brief email saying that I did not want to pursue any kind of relationship with him (friendship or otherwise) and that I wanted him to stop communicating with me and that in any case I would no longer respond. This gives me advanced permission to delete email and ignore or hang up on calls... And for me it takes some of the guilt away. If he continues to try to contact me and he finds my silence upsetting, it's his own fault. Bottom line - he is toxic and I need to stay away for my own good. Too bad if that makes him miserable. The impact of what you describe is totally blown out of proportion. The idea that random pictures of me on a random website would ruin my life is completely ridiculous... Like I said.. If they have a picture of your face finding any other existing pictures of you on the web is a rather trivial task now, from there the only limit is how malicious they feel like being. It's not deluded - you totally overestimate both the likelihood of it happening, and the impact it would actually have on my life. Psycho behaviour could be directed toward anybody, but that doesn't mean that it's worth worrying about every possible thing that might happen to you...
