Bit of a mess above me... Slider came all the way down, but my Sabre was inflated on each side and just looked all funny in the middle. Kinda thought I might have a line-over but wasn't sure... Tried to shake it out and then it started spinning very rapidly... This was at 2,700 feet but once I started spinning I just chopped the fucker. Not sure *exactly* at what altitude the reserve opened but when I thought to check my altitude again (once the reserve was all good), it was 1,700 feet. And the moral of the story is: always set your brakes... (Insert massively embarrassed emoticons here.) Gotta agree with Shroppy... The main thing is that you get your message across... I personally spend a lot of time proofreading my stuff and trying to be as clear as possible, but I don't expect everyone to care about the same things I do or live up to my "standards"... Stop eating twinkies?? How long has it taken you to put on the weight?? It always takes me twice as long to lose as it took me to gain This is always my approach: be honest about what you eat, and how much energy you are spending... You might be able to lose some by just using a smaller plate and cutting your portions - you'd be surprised at the results. More vegetables to fill you up and less meat/bread/pasta... You still feel full, but you're less likely to overeat on veggies... It's not very scientific but it works for me. How's this for progress: Day 1 - too windy Day 2 - too windy Day 3 - high pull, solo "almost-sit" (confirms I need coaching!!) Day 3 - 2-way "sit" (further confirms I need coaching!!) with reserve ride!! Happy I opened with a lot of altitude to spare

Procedures for landing in or on a building: a. Prepare for a hard landing (PLF position). b. Flare at ten feet above the building. c. Strike the object feet first. d. After landing on top of a building in windy conditions, pull the cutaway handle to prevent being dragged off the building." The instructor doing my gear check just saw the last entry in my logbook and thought I should do a little written test before going up again... One question was "your're about to land on the roof of a building, what do you do?" I answered "PANIC!!" Was that wrong??! Ok, I should have put - don't go there in the first place... My bf has done a couple of Iron Men. I love seeing the pictures of him running at the end because he looks like he's about to DIE!!! I would like to do one but I think the swimming just might kill me... It's playing at the open air cinema this evening and I can't wait to see it. It might rain and I don't even give a shit. I'm really excited about this movie - I don't get excited about very many movies... But just the effects are enough to make me want to pay extra to see it on a big screen... I will almost certainly be disappointed... I've built it up too big in my head!!! I don't know what it is about a nice cute little round bum but it's sooooo tempting to squeeze it!!! Too bad some people are just plain creepy when they do it because bums are such fun (I really don't know what the actual definiton of creepy is but some people can grab your bum and it's totally funny - some people are way too pervy and it's just weird.)
