  1. Yeah, my bad for actually replying to a thread while I was still on page 1 and not the last page It wouldn't hurt you to think like a fucking serial killer every once in a while - just for the sake of prevention
  2. Wow. A co-dependent p*ssy WITH a passive-aggressive streak! You certainly passed up the total package there. Why on earth did his ex let him get away?! This +1000 ... my god his behavior after day one was terrible. He needs new lessons on how to charm his way into a girl's bed (and probably needs some vapid, uninteresting, dumb girls instead of Lucky LOL) It wouldn't hurt you to think like a fucking serial killer every once in a while - just for the sake of prevention
  3. My phone if I delete a number I can't set it to special actions (like silent). Deleting it runs the risk of a 2am wake up call. It wouldn't hurt you to think like a fucking serial killer every once in a while - just for the sake of prevention
  4. Awesome!! I hope my dick grows a couple of inches, too! That brings back some bad memories, as in "This one time in San Francisco ..." It wouldn't hurt you to think like a fucking serial killer every once in a while - just for the sake of prevention
  5. I wouldn't cheat. That's not cool. I'm the kinda dork that actually studied for my A & B tests, with study guides and everything. I'm the dork that didn't but had my non-skydiver wife sitting at the picnic table with me telling me the right answers It wouldn't hurt you to think like a fucking serial killer every once in a while - just for the sake of prevention
  6. Or, if you were really interested, invite him to the DZ late afternoon heading into bonfire time. No "pressure" to do a tandem, but watching everyone else have fun and meeting your DZ friends might be cool. 7. Greeeat. Now, my mom will be calling me saying, can you show me how to use the tweeter thingy on my computer? Agreed, Oprah coming to twitter is definitely a case of "there goes the neighborhood" - sigh It wouldn't hurt you to think like a fucking serial killer every once in a while - just for the sake of prevention
  8. This is a stupid question but can you make Jell-O shots with anything besides vodka? Oh yeah; my wife's friend from work makes many different ones. A favorite is orange jello and tequila (basically a tequila sunrise). It wouldn't hurt you to think like a fucking serial killer every once in a while - just for the sake of prevention
  9. It will often stay in the fridge long enough to grow sentient. When it actually speaks to me I get rid of it. No one likes talking old food. It wouldn't hurt you to think like a fucking serial killer every once in a while - just for the sake of prevention
  10. Nice game, albeit not as confidence inspiring as I'd like. I saw quite a few Wings passes that got through not because the pass beat the defenseman but because the defenseman was either out of position looking to deliver a questionable hit or because the defenseman's stick was off the ice hunting for a Wings player. These incidents are, theoretically, correctable by the Ducks. On the other side note I still did see a number of broken passes by a Duck's defenseman who was in position. There's is a defense that can still step back up. I'm not completely confident that they (Duck's) will step back up, but I'm also not confident they won't. 11. Came into this thread to see if someone had answered that; left satisfied.
  12. Yes, it's almost like years ago David Stern recognized the growing popularity of and potential competition by hockey to the NBA. Upon realizing this, he plotted and planned and ultimately figured that the best way to fight this competition was to send his most inept, idiotic, and dumb advisor over to the league as commissioner. And us NHL fans have been stuck with Bettman ever since. It wouldn't hurt you to think like a fucking serial killer every once in a while - just for the sake of prevention

  14. I hope he's ok as well. I gotta believe it's a bit of divine Karma though. I was in row 7 at game 1 and he was just a little bitch that night. Getting away with all kinds of dirty sh*t behind the camera the entire game. And he's from Detroit...lol. +1 on hoping he is OK. From the replay, however, it looked to me like he got injured because his arms were up delivering a cross check, allowing the puck to sneak into a soft spot on his pads and make hard contact with his chest. If his stick had been on the ice and not on a Redwings player's back, he probably would have been healthy to deliver some kind of retaliation on Holmstrom for the elbow Edit: minor wording changes It wouldn't hurt you to think like a fucking serial killer every once in a while - just for the sake of prevention
  15. In the cases where the ref actually blows the whistle, it makes perfect sense to be non-reviewable. Any player on the ice could have heard the whistle, stopped skating, looked away, etc. changing the outcome of the play. What I heard from the announcers and read in at least one story today (that I can re-find the URL for) is that the current rules are once the ref "intends" to blow the whistle, the play is dead - even if it takes him a second to get the whistle to his mouth and blow it. This is why that play is not reviewable under todays rules. Under today's rules the play was dead before the puck crossed the line, just no one on the ice knew it because the whistle hadn't blown. The replay shows the puck crossing the line just slightly before the ref has the whistle to his mouth, but the whistle isn't really the end of the play, which was some thought of the ref a second prior. The rules as written are terrible, the actual whistle should be the end of the play and those types of goals should be reviewable. As heard on another mailing list, "There's a reason that the NHL is on Versus... and this game shows exactly why" It wouldn't hurt you to think like a fucking serial killer every once in a while - just for the sake of prevention
  16. Every interaction I've had with BofA has been negative. I wouldn't want my savings with them. Every interaction I've had with BofA has been extremely positive. When I was house shopping a little over a year ago their mortgage department was responsive and responsible. My primary checking account (with bill-pay, Quicken downloads, etc.) has been with them since 2003 which I told Wachovia to fark off. 18. Take the opportunity to see (anything) on-Broadway if you get the chance. It's quite amazing. I've see Cats, Phantom, Spamalot, Into the Woods, and Les Mis all on broadway when we lived up north. From what I heard about the West Side Story remake is that they are doing it half in Spanish which sounds really cool (even though I don't speak Spanish). 19. No kids going, thankfully We're combining Wicked with an overnight at the high-end hotel across the street from the symphony hall, a nice dinner, champagne toast in the room, and french-toast in bed the next morning. Happy birthday to my wife I have really good idea about the premise, I just finished the book a few weeks ago and my wife read it last year. Looking forward to it! 20. Kind of a toss up between Phantom, Cats, and Les Misérables. That could change this weekend, we're seeing the traveling show of Wicked here in Jacksonville Saturday night. It wouldn't hurt you to think like a fucking serial killer every once in a while - just for the sake of prevention
  21. I don't believe, I ever said that the Wings were a 'sure thing'. The Ducks are a tough team and the Wings definately, have their work cut-out for them. Today's game was damned good! I don't think Ozzie saw that over-time goal coming. All in all, the Ducks were quite good at breaking-up plays and really seemed to have control of the neutral zone. The Wings seemed a bit sluggish in the first two periods. They seemed to slack-off on defense going into the third. They need to see more out of Datsyuk and Hossa. I will say again, it's going to be a hard fought series and I'd like to see the Wings win it. There's still, five games left and it ain't over till it's over. Chuck Chuck, When I read predictions of 4 games or 5 games, my feeling is that somebody thinks it's a sure thing. Out of the 7 other teams remaining...I think that only the Ducks and maybe the Bruins are teams that can beat the Wings....and I don't know about the Bruins after getting shutout today by the 'Canes. If the Ducks win Game 3....lookout! There can be 4 game sweeps or 5 game series that can be very hard fought and very much not a sure thing. Remember the 1997 Duck / Wings series - a "four game sweep" that had 3 full scoreless overtime periods, and 3 partial overtime periods during which the game was won. That was nearly a 6 game 4-0 sweep" http://ducks.nhl.com/team/app/?service=page&page=NewsPage&articleid=420534 Edit to add the reference I finally found. 22. I know the question wasn't directed at me, but my answer is absolutely no. Hockey is tough, violent, and as much as no one "likes" injuries, they will happen and will happen on clean plays and legal hits. On the narrow issue of the Brown hit on Hudler, I still disagree with you and believe that Brown's hit was blatantly illegal, an example of head-hunting, and quite probably an intentional intent to injure. Though I did agree with the announcers Friday night, and still believe the hit was blatant, I now think that the league did the right thing in non-suspending. In particular I agree with (emphasis mine): And Source Lowering the style of competition won't work this series, especially now that the Wings have overcome the rust of 8 days off and have regained their focus. My original prediction was Wings in 6 or 7 games, I'm revising that to Wings in 5 or 6 and if they win today a very good chance of Wings in 4. 23. Ditto - I expected "best case" to be a split of the first two at home, and regardless of tomorrow they will get at least that. If the Wings can take advantage of the home ice energy and their (hopefully) renewed sense of urgency and hard work, they may be able to travel to Anaheim up 2-0. 24. Combination of turning up the intensity a bit in the third and an excellent play by Lindstrom to step into that rebound. The effort in the third this game better be the minimum effort the rest of the series in order to get a series win. The long layoff between Columbus and today showed the early parts of this game.
