  1. I'm not a plumber either, but I sometimes get called upon to clean out peoples "pipes" at work. This is the face they make ==> Being a nurse is hell sometimes.
  2. When it's time, you'll know. I've put down a dog and a few rodents I loved dearly, it hurts like hell each time. I wish I could offer some bit of wisdom more helpful than that, but it's all I can think of. (((Pet loving vibes)))
  3. I work at a hospital. If I ever need to let loose I always have a few patients I can lay the blame on.
  4. Water. I drowned when I was a child. So what did I do when I turned 18? Joined the Navy, of course!
  5. Lots of needles in my line of work, but thankfully I'm on the blunt end of them.
  6. Snipers are incredible. The training they have to go through... so much more than just being able to shoot straight. I can hit targets all day long, but I don't know how many seconds I would last having to crawl around like that and get bit by bugs and pee on myself.
  7. Try nursing. I get to help peoples Grammas feel better.
  8. I just hope I get my A license before I'm eligible for POPS
  9. Yes, if I could run faster than everyone else on the load.
  10. That video is cool, and by cool I mean totally sweet.
  11. Just don't eat the big white breath mint in the urinal
  12. I voted no fudging way, cause I'm single and my back doesn't bend that far forward.
  13. Even though I haven't learned how to pack yet, I learned a bunch of stuff about what to look for in the rig. For a not-so-long seminar, our rigger taught me a lot. The hanging harness was fun as well.
  14. On the trip to my DZ, it was snowing the entire trip, at least six inches on the ground but we had a pretty good turnout. The snowball fights between seminars were fun to watch, too.
  15. In that case bring for the animals, too! I'll be at my DZ for my first Safety Day. Wouldn't miss it for the world. Already have the beer on ice

I can't see us jumping, either. It's going to be cold as hell and snowy. I've already started the list of what beers I'm going to bring: Boddington's Pub Ale, for the people from across the pond, Sierra Nevada, Great Lakes Brewing, Victory (gotta represent one of the finest breweries in the world), and maybe a Brooklyn or two. Suggestions welcome. I've also managed to talk my hospital into giving me a few neck braces to add to our first aid stuff. Blues...
  17. Aikido is probably the most appropriate style for a woman because it uses the opponent’s energy and therefore the natural differences in physical strenghth do not limit females when they fight with males. Gosh, I will never forget how my college classmate (a young elegant girl) playfully tossed two drunk local guys into a lake and we just had to watch and enjoy the show. Wing Chun would be a good style for a woman as well, seeing as how it was developed by a nun. I like Wing Chun, never had to fight for real (for which I am eternally grateful) but I want to look into MMA now.
  18. Second! (let me don my evil costume for a sec...) What is it about getting old that entitles you to MY money?
  19. Too true. Most of the hard line leftists in this country are called liberals but seem to be more a bunch of Marxists. I'd like to consider myself a liberal conservative.
  20. Thanks guys, appreciate the input. I'll be sure to ask if it's ok to use first, fo'sure. Keeping my nose out of it shouldn't be a problem, this big honker on the end of my face probably wouldn't fit inside the balaclava.
  21. It's been a while since my last jump, and since I'm still on student status, my DZ will probably want me to wear the student helmets with the radio inside. My question is this: would a balaclava help keep the wind out of my face? It's really annoying to me, and it's the reason why I bought a Z1 full face after my first jump. Thanks for any input. BTW, on my last few jumps, I had the radio attached to the chest strap, it stayed put and I could hear just fine, I don't want anyone to think that my DZ would let me jump without a radio, even though they do a kick butt job of preparing people for radio failures. Safety first!
