    That was apple's way of throwing Creative a little bone on top of the other parts of that. As Jobs said creative was very fortunate to just beat out apple with there patents of the menu system used by the iPod. that is the only "technology" that Apple took.     They were in negotiations right up till 8pm monday night. BUT this wont delay the release of the iPhone. Apple will end up getting there way.     Cingular now offers HSPDA/UMTS...which is truly a 3G network. and you are right EDGE/GSM blows chunks. BUT we have HSPDA/UMTS in our market here...and supposedly it is in 100+markets per cingular. Just an option. One problem is the expense involved is rather large for a 3G phone from Cingular. BUT I can NOT wait till this iPhone is released. SOOOO want one. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    In all modern (i.e. intel) macs you can install winblows if you absolutely must. You just have to boot into either one...or you can install paralells and just switch at will without any type of virtual PC action like previous macs. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

There is a possibility there will be new books introduced. also I wouldn't buy the black mac book...your wasting your money. get the middle of the line one. that's why I bought and then upgraded the hard drive my self. super easy to do.     I just installed a 120gig on my Mac book and it took a grand total of 5 minutes to install.......and then an hour or so to reinstall all my software. etc. they do make it ultra easy with the mac book to swap in a new one. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    You don't need a .mac account to run iChat. All you need is an AIM screen name. it works great for my wife, daughter, and I. Also it will still allow you to do the video conferencing as long as your other person has .Mac. you can also talk with up to three people as long as they have OS X Tiger.     My macbook is NOT glitchy, I record on it, Can DJ on it, do podcasting on it, compose music on garageband(its included), download tons of music(I have over 80days of music on it)(that I legally bought or obtained), and generaly surf around on it. a Mac is the way to go. This is my mac computer and I'd never go back. I blame quade for my love afair with these computers. also no viruses on either one so far after two years....and no real problems. I also have swapped out HD's on both of them by my self and upgraded RAM on both without issue. It is rather easy...especially on the mac book. I just don't get why people complain about macs. You can get a refurbished macbook for less than a grand...a brand new one for a grand...and a very decent one with a superdrive for 1200 bucks. the sligh increase in cost is negligible with the benefits you get. all the software included is great. SOOO worth it. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
