I was just informed today that I have to go to a psych exam in the morning for a department I applied and tested for. It's a combination department...but not the typical combination department. It is Police/Fire/EMS all in one. Public saftey officer stuff. Work the fire house for 16hrs then get put in a square car for 8hours. Seeing as it's been almost a decade since the last time I had to take one of these. Have any Suggestions? What to wear. Etc. Etc.... Do I admit I'm a skydiver? Ahhh...it's driving me nuts. Just kidding.

He tryed to "detain" me inside to check my receipt...I told him to try to arrest me...cause I wasn't going to wait in a line to get OUT of the store I just PAID for something in. that was the detention thing. He did try to detain me...2 counts of false imprisonment, two counts of assault and battery, two counts of felonious assault to a minor child. It was a good day. after I got a very long letter from target stores kissing my ass I didn't sue them...but you can bet that "security guard" is a felon now. and you can bet I paid for everything. But if that person's job is to infringe upon our rights and break the law by false imprisonment...well so be it. he can fucking go to jail. I had a very similar incident happen to me about 10yrs ago at a target store. the security guard went to jail and the fact that he tackled me outside a target with my 1yr old in my arms was an idiotic thing to do. Plus I was in my FD uniform too. thank god I still had my receipt in my hands with lauren in the other. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

I just went through the written and then got asked back for the oral interview that I think went well. It is for a public saftey department. If hired I'd have a 50/50 chance of getting sent to cop school. I'd be ok with it. This whole department is basicly comprised of 50 FF/Paramedic/Police officers.....you go to work like a FF schedule...but 8 of your 24 hours at the firehouse you go out on the street and patrol. It sounds fun to me and a new challenge as i am pretty much bored being a medic now a days after 12yrs. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

I'd say it's more than a grounding situation...this is a time to encourage bowling for a sport over skydiving. waiting for anything to do the job over you is like waiting for your funeral. Not smart at all. Scary too. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

I can not for the life of me rip any of the tunes off of a recently purchased Dual disc. Specificly the new Son Volt album "Okeymah and the Melody of Riot". Great album...just wish I could put it on my iPod. I am using an iMac G5 1.6... Any idea's? or am I not the only one. i will never ever buy another album on the dual disc format again. this is crap. Pull your MP3/AAC files off your hard drive drag and drop them into iTunes then sync your iPod with it. it's that easy. well if you have a Winblows machine it might take a little bit of tweeking...but otherwise relatively simple. Also ripping any CD into iTunes is rather easy. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

funny how even a mayor as corrupt as Dailey can't even get any recognition for his team....although I think the real reason the sox get hosed about coverage would happen to be that whole ownership thing. something about a north side team being owned by the Worlds Greatest Newspaper. I am a life long cubs fan...have never believed in the curse...and I don't bitch about it causing my team to suck so much. actualy for the last couple of years they have played well over .500 ball. The real reason...well up till a couple of years ago...for losing so much is the sever drought of money pumped into the team. Trust me I can argue that truth for sure.
