    I have never seen a mean mastiff chase down someone. English mastiffs that I have known and owned are rather lame when it comes to chasing things. they are very lazy dogs. Why don't you find out what kind of dog it is before you go bashing a breed you know nothing about. Also about the Bullmastiff's. I had a roommate who had one for about a yr and half I lived with it. It got along with my dogs and my other roommates rather well...BUT...it did like to assert it's machismo at time's. especialy during feeding times. All in all a good dog if you don't have other dogs. If you get him/her as a puppy i don't think this will be as much of an issue as all the dogs we had in the loft came together as adults. They are a great breed but also have there negatives. Personaly I'd say get a English Mastiff...but I'm kinda partial. Bullmastiffs can be rather loyal...and RATHER stuborn. Good luck. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    Nothing wrong with Law...it is a necesary evil. I don't care how much people say they hate lawyers...with out lawyers the world wouldn't turn on it's access. Plus I'd of gotten screwed out of my daughter.

    Took the words right out of my mouth. Switching to the Mac almost a year ago was the best thing my wife and I could of done. No more PC headaches....oh...and my ipod works with it EVERY time.

    Remmy...Draegers are still considered SCBA's. And that's what I used for alot of my HAZ-MAT experience. It's just considered a closed circuit SCBA over an open circuit positive pressure unit as we use at the FD. Draeger also makes open circuit SCBA. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    Average pay of friends that I know and have trained with have been between 15 to 25...that's with years of experience. BUT you have to understand this is huge money for towns that have virtualy no other industry or jobs. and even then it is huge amounts of money compared to the other jobs there.     Have you ever worked with SCBA? It's not quite as easy at such long distances. Even the hour rated bottles are really only good for about 45 minutes with a very healthy person when they are working at capacity. plus carrying extra bottles for both egress and entry, plus monitoring air quality for upper and lower explosive limits, plus due to the explosion monitoring structural stability as they make entry and then egress. It takes time to do all of that...and no reason to risk rescuers lives for a "possible" rescue. I've worked many many hours in SCBA and do not envy miners and mine rescue in the least. One other thing...there tends to be higher methane levels in coal mines in the winter...hence another reason for the extra safety in reentering the mine. Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....

    you have the normal wings handle. and yes it's smaller than normal. but there's a smaller one that does not go out so far. First time I saw the regular wings handle I thought it was wrong cause it was so small. I like my low profile...it's worked just peachy for me now...a few too many times.
