i collapsed my slider this weekend. it was cool. not much of a change(i am on a big,low loaded main) but enough to know that there was a change in flight. Have Fun, live free, SKYDIVE!!! JT

okay the e-z-est way to explain this is...picture you and a friend on the inside of a big truck tire. you know how you are positioned in it? feet to shoulders kinda holding on so you dont break away and fall out? well we did it that way without the tire. it was a four way. but we arranged the way i explained but we did it with four people meaning that two of us set up next to the other two and interlocked arms and legs( i prob'ly just lost you) it was awesome. im sure mouth(lisa) can xplain it better....the max speed that was ACHEIVED was 188mph. i don't know if i was going that fast b/c me and the other "virgin" broke off. but i will tell you this; after he broke off i tried to hold on but couldn't so i broke off and "felt myself SLOOWW down" i hope i help you figure out what a tube jump(in that sense of the term) is!! that one had me thinking.(only for about 8 seconds, but thats a streak for the day) i hit cypres. im not worried about my landings, i can look at the ground and judge altitude. although i wouldn't not want an alti but if i absolutely lost it i would'nt fear impact. the helmet was an issue for some types of jumps but if you decide to go without the brain bucket, a cypres is always good in case you get knocked out..... see how that eight seconds ended up on my decision?! how exactly do you farm for mike's? ( i bet you gotta put a plane on the ground and they'll eventually show up in it. ) sorry bout the bad jooke mike!!but i hadda Have Fun, live free, SKYDIVE!!! JT

hey sang-- thanks for killing that anonymous guy!! thats why i stopped going to the guitar sights. it seemed to be filled with 10 yr old kids. good job at stopping it before they all found us!!! about the word geek-- i remember bcak in the day that word was ALWAYS preceded by the word computer..."COMPUTER GEEK!!" social misfit? they can be a geek too but b/c they don't have a place above ground that they feel comfortable. chances are most misfits are computer geeks! but not all computer geeks are social misfits.!!! well i can't speak for any body here. they all think we're weird!! damn whuffo's ha ha haha Have Fun, live free, SKYDIVE!!! JT is no longer a "tube virgin"....he did his first tube dive and had a blast. He was still laughing about it way into the night thus I think he will always remember this first. laughing into the night??!! shit i'm still laughing. that was awesome. now that the door was open,on the jump we did(i was waiting for you to post something like this, lisa) what a blast!! i told my town (yup the whole town...all six of 'em)about my jumps at thomaston,as i do everytime i jump! but my buddy,the one skydive friend in town that i know, understood the extreme fun that had. and he was pretty jealous. we have yet to jump together. maybe when i come up there this weekend we can do some rw. he's supposed to be there on sunday (if he can come up there). ive gotto get there this weekend even if its only saturday.(you know, texas will be there on sunday too!!) i need to get high!! the closer i come to leaving the more i fear that i wont be able to jump for my 1 yr. stint in korea. so i must GET HIGH!!!! its good to see the guy who found it actually made the effort to return it. good on him!!! some whuffos are cool. good to see the fellow skydivers looking out for this guy who lost it. not all would do that(although i wished they would) this should help keep the post up for a little bit. hope you find him. if not have fun with the tools!!! hey michele, like zennie said... if you can walk away its a good skydive. but to add to that, it's even better if you walk away AND you learned something. and it sounds like you did. great job. remember, it's your life so YOU should be the one who is comfortable with the jump.etc etc. no-one else is gonna know your worries unless you ask questions. its good to see that you are aware of things and that you walked away. welcome to our world!!!! let us know how your jumps go. it's great to hear/see someone progress through the course. hey everyone, i just wanna tell you what a great time i had at thomaston this weekend. there were alot of good "folks" (i guess that's what they're called in GA) up there. i won't get into each jump.... but they always get better then the last don't they. for those of you who have yet to meet lisa"this is your mother talking" smith, get up to thomaston.she's awesome. the air show was kinda cool too.(although when I 1st got there i though we weren't gonna be able to jump)oh iand i cant 4get the super otter. what a treat!! lisa--next time im there i'll bring some beer(ga+sunday= sober) but there were a few 1st's that i owe you and dave and who ever feels like partying. hope ya like imports.!! i'll keep this short.... blue skies Have Fun, live free, SKYDIVE!!! hey donna-- i always wondered this and your comment makes me wanna ask the question. do you think that those who were born in to skydiving take it for granted. i'm not insinuating(?) that they are less into it then any body else but . one of the girls in my town is a skydivers kid and she is totally not impressed with skydiving. as for me it always seemed like it was JUST AN UNREACHABLE DREAM. then when i acheived it...my god it feels so good to part of it All! ya know wwhat i mean? have fun, live free, SKYDIVE JT

hey alex-- as a musician i find just about everthing out there pretty weak lately how bout you. as a listener- i find everything out there pretty weak lately too. haha . i like ELECTRIC BLUES(srv, kws,hendrix etcetc) METAL(the real metallica, not this shit they put out now. sabbath.etc etc) some stuff you can sink your teeth into,and feel it's juices run down your chin. grrr i love it sorry i sound so insane about music right now, but as i type i am forced to listen to the pet shop boys.......f@*K! have fun, live free, SKYDIVE JT
