I know the feeling, my work used to be situated in the best spot with cafes, restaurants and shops all around, then they decided to move it to an industrial estate and now i've got a choice of one sandwich bar and mcdonalds . I bring my lunch to work with me every day now, it's not the best but it has saved me heaps of money so I can't complain too much. . My parents knew from the start. Since I turned 18 they have never imposed any restrictions upon my behaviour. They weren't too keen on it at first, especially seeing as though i sold the car they bought me for my birthday to pay for AFF without even driving it my dad still doesn't like to hear about it but my mum is quite keen to learn more. she actually called me the other day because she had seen some BASE on tv and was wondering if i was going to be doing that in the future, haha i said if i do it wont be for a very very very long time mum. But yes, be honest with him, I think the fear comes form the unknown, if you can make him understand what it is you're doing and show him that it's all quite safe and there are stringent safety proceedures that must be followed then he might be a bit more open to it. . yeah see that's the thing, if we couldn't see what he was doing it would appear that he was just some guy sitting in a car, i wouldn't have been AS worried, i'd just think he was just waiting for someone... but he saw her come to the window to see what he was doing and purposly opened the door so the light would come on and looked right at her. I don't care what people do when they are alone, as long as it doesn't affect other people... in this instance i thought it was slightly weird and unsettling. . yuck, a similar thing happened here. I live in an apartment block with my roomate, a girl the same age as myself. It was about 2am and she sees this guy outside the apartment block just sitting in his car, tried to see what the hell he's doing and he opens the door slightly so the interior light comes on, looks up at the window and is... yep whacking off. She called the police and had to umm tell them some guy was sitting in the car outside out our place pleasuring himself... the cop didn't seem like he cared much, said someone else had reported it too and they'd drive over. It has since happened again... our lease is up in three weeks and we're definately moving. . Michael Collins, the leader of the IRA was related to me, not sure of the exact relation, great uncle or something. I can do this weird thing with my tongue by flipping it over backwards and holding it there, I’ve never met anyone else who can do it. . Done all of the above, although i never really smoked cigarettes as such, tried them once or twice and thought why in the hell would anybody continually put this crap in their lungs? I've lived in Australia my entire life but my family are Irish so i've been to Ireland. I've also been to England, Singapore and the US. Although i don't remember much of England or Singapore as I was quite young. I'd love to head back to Europe and the States, to see it all on my own, not have to follow anyone else around. wow, that's really sweet. As everyone else has said, you should be really proud of him. I'm kind of around the same age and sometimes I know i get so caught up with the issues and new challenges in my life that i forget about how hard it can be on my parents to watch me grow and change. Parents do such an amazing job, loving, caring and taking responsibility for shaping their childrens lives, it's so nice to hear how much love you have for your son. Makes me want to call my own mother and father and remind them how much i appreciate their support, thanks.

Wow, it’s even from scratch! I tell people I can cook, but cooking for me involves frying some meat and adding packet veggies and stir fry sauce from a jar. Hehe, tastes ok though. It’s lunch time here and I think by the time the soup got here it would be slightly cold, but the thought is nice. I’m so hungry now. . I think I was the worst tandem student even in the plane, I jumped at a dropzone that a friend worked at as a camera flyer so that kind of gave the TMs and everyone else in the plane some free reign to pick on me as much as possible. I was literally white and shaking with fear gripping onto my TMs leg the whole way up and all I’m listening to from everyone else is: oh they didn’t give you THAT rig did they? Oh you’re not jumping with HIM are you? Etc etc etc. ad nauseam. I’m sitting all hooked up in the plane and he’s trying to move me to the edge and I’m just shaking my head at him, I couldn’t even speak all I could think was uh-uh no way! But then somehow he got me out thank god!… I’ve got the video of when they get me on the ground I sound like I’m drunk, can’t even string a sentence together just laughing and saying thanks, totally amazed. Haha. It’s so cliché. They were all just laughing and shaking their heads at me. So yeah, thanks TMs you do an awesome job!

crazy? haha i have no idea what you're talking about oh wow, my parents never offered me anything like that, my dad is quite against it, he refuses to speak about it. my mum is ok though, she asks questions and likes to hear how it's going. I don't think they really want me to be doing it but they haven't tried to stop me. If they offered me money i wouldn't take it either. too much fun to be had. hehe . not a whole lot. dinner, shopping and videos with friends for the most part of my weekend. saturday was the most glorius day i've seen here in a while, it's Autumn and we got clear skies and 29degrees (celcius) stunning... of course i had to clean the house and get some other things done sunday it rained, high winds and low cloud so we went out to the dz to see if there was any chance... but alas we spent most of the time hearing, oh you should have been here yesterday, it was perfect. hmm thanks another week of work ahead. .
