  1. I was, but I was also giving him the opportunity he was obviously itching for. Your brain is like your testicles, if you don't spew something every now and then it gets backed up and can seriously affect your motor skills.
  2. I don't understand why they would put those two black bars on the screen. I mean, I've got a WHOLE SCREEN, why not use it? You can't see as much with the black bars there.

Heidi, I'd like you to meet the Alamo and his friend Davy Crockett. Guys, this is Heidi. I'll leave you guys alone to get to know each other.
  4. Why do so many people hate Speaker's Corner so much? Because of you.
  5. Either way. We can play it by ear. But I've been wondering what the ones in B/CS are like for a while now. Can't pass up the opportunity.
  6. Listen to Dave. He's a wise man in the ways of Freebird's. Besides, Chipotle is owned by McDonald's. Hey Dave, I was thinking of making a trip to Freebird's this weekend. Interested?
  7. They don't got sweet tea in Califernia? God damn commies.
  8. I wouldn't know about that, but when I was in Greece in 2001 they did. I happen to hate McDonald's, particularly when there are any number of new local places to experience, but just once I had to go and find out what a McDonald's veggie burger (and veggie McNuggets) was all about.
  9. Fast food and vegetarianism don't go particularly well together.
  10. Oh yeah? so she liked it up the BOC, eh? Got any pictures of your negative rig?
  11. When I first got back from Greece I decided to take a bottle of Ouzo to a party to share it around. Well, it was a 40s and blunts themed party, so I drank the obligatory 40, then started trying to share around the Ouzo. Nobody was interested. Before I knew it the bottle was gone.
  12. Why thank you, thank you very much. So, do you suppose it's easier to sleep wearing the rig, or spooning it?
  13. Hey, at least you're doing something! The site specifically says "If, on the other hand, you find the program too strenuous, just stretch it out. Don't feel pressured to continue faster than you're able. Repeat weeks if needed and move ahead only when you feel you're ready." You're on your way, that's what counts!
  14. Yeah, well, add her to the list. If you can dig through all the paper and find the bottom. At least she's funny.
  15. I just finished session 1.1, and I guess I'm the first one to admit that it kicked my ass. After the first quarter I thought about giving up, but it actually got easier after that. This is definitely going to be easier knowing there are other people suffering out there with me. I went a total of 2.2 miles, and by the end of it I really thought I might throw up. Thankfully, I didn't. Doing this two times in the next week seems a little ambitious to me, but dammit, I'm gonna give it my best! Ntrprnr already posted this pedometer in another thread, but it's worth reposting. One down, many more to go!
  16. No, but I've been blown through a stop sign.
  17. Hey, I was just trying to help. The link really is just a link to an mp3 of the Pinky and the Brain theme song. Although I do find it terribly amusing that I'm part of the "Beware-a-link" foundation.
  18. Prepare to have your brain infiltrated.
  19. I'm an aries as well, and I try to blend in, but I don't think I do a very good job. I got perhaps the biggest compliment of my life this weekend when some one said about me "he doesn't say much, but when he does it's funny."
  20. I agree. Actually, I think it's pretty damn funny, especially since it was unintentional. But somewhere along the line this thread took a turn, and it was something else someone said that I disagreed with.
