  1. Go to ar15.com and check the equipment exchange 'magazines' section. There is a guy there named Moncrie selling new LEO marked 30 rnd mags for 10.95. Check in the 'complete firearms' section for a guy named SteyrAug. He's taking preorders for LEO marked Colt AR15s.
  2. Its pretty obvious you were calling out gun owners to show they NEEDED "to use" a gun to justify its possesion nevermind the fact that you "conceded". I was just pointing out that some things we "need" are sometimes never used but we have them anyway...because its a smart thing to do.
  3. I cant believe you posted that and not expected someone to laugh at it. I dont have health insurance. If your such a great liberal, why dont you volunteer to pay for mine? I honestly will accept.
  4. Just curious if you've ever called the fire department to put out a fire at your house? Guess we dont need fire departments. Oh and to further show the lack of logic in your statement: I have never needed a seatbelt. I have never needed an airbag. I have never needed a helmet. Should I give them all up?
  5. Lake Wales destroyed. Z-Hills made it without a scratch.
  6. Here's where they took the cash from. Saturday, July 24, 2004 2005 funding for XM8 Rifle axed FRI 23 JUL04. Columbus (GA) Ledger-Enquirer. Christopher Boyce. A $25.9 million funding request for H&K to begin making the XM8 assault rifle in Columbus, GA was pulled from a Department of Defense appropriations bill before Congress approved the 2005 spending plan late Thursday. Jennifer Hoelzer, director of communications for U.S. Rep. Sanford Bishop, said the money was part of the $417.5 billion appropriations bill. Bishop, D-Ga., said $25.9 million was sought for gun manufacturer Heckler & Koch to begin production of the XM8 assault rifle in Columbus. ***

  8. He's being groomed for a future run at the Whitehouse in either spot. Maybe with Hitlery.
  9. Cool thing about a gunfight is if you hand someone their ass on a silver platter the fight goes out of them. It seems on the internet this is not true. Thing is, an ideology can get you into trouble. Its an idea or a hope, not something based in fact and ideologues try to espouse their position based on their feelings about how they think things "should be", not on how things really are. Therein lies the problem. Liberals tend to be ideologues while conservatives tend to be realists or pragmatists. We think, while they feel. JMHO, YMMV.
  10. The only thing preventing it is attitudes like yours. Neal Boortz put it very well when he asked who ever thought the wall would come down when Reagan uttered his most eloquent words..."Mr. Gorbachev. Tear down this wall" AND.. if you think accountants make their money filling out tax returns you sir are sadly mistaken.
  11. I have some information for you: BITE ME! Take your cause elsewhere or form your own group. We are individuals here with a common interest, not a common cause.
  12. Personally. I call it government sponsored murder of Americans practicing their first amendment rights and being deprived of their fifth amendment rights to due process. You call it what you want.
  13. If you think health care is expensive now....wait until its free. Go ask the Canadians what they pay in taxes and if they get an MRI or a CAT scan next week.
  14. To simplify, a main packed by anybody other than the jumper has to meet all the requirements of a reserve, except the logging and seal. If the PC wasn't cocked at all, refund the pack job and at least half the ticket. (Other half on jumper for not checking on the ground) But, I'd refund all the ticket and appologize profusely. If your main doesn't work your started on the cascade to a fatality. PC in tow is one of the scariest, I've been there. If the kill line had slipped but the PC was still functional, the "offer" not to pay the packer is reasonable. "You pay your money and take your chance" with a main pack job. Hmmm, you should be paying for rigger quality and responsibility. They should be held to the same responsibility as a reserve. They're covered under the same regs. Now, is this reasonable. Probably not, and thats why I don't pack mains. (I take that back. I will pack a main, for my regular $40 fee) I'm held to the same standard, means the same cost. Hmmm do I need Nomex? +1
  15. Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!
  16. Dont spend money on that newfangled crap, they dont make 'em like they used to. Get a Tommy Gun...Thompson automatic with a drum magazine http://www.nfatoys.com/tsmg/ Do you have ANY idea how much a transferable Thompson costs? Try 14,000 dollars and up. The drum mags cost more than most semi auto rifles. The cheapest machine gun you can buy is an M11/9 for about 2500 bucks.
  17. If you can be in the skydive you could film it. If you cant.....well
  18. It sounds to me from reading the above posts that: the PAC750, while being billed as a jumpship, actually sucks to jump out of. Too many issues. It stalls, it stalls, it stalls, and lets see...you can hit the tail doing video. Ya. Sounds great. Not that it cant be used as a jumpship but I'll take a Twin Otter over it any day after reading this thread.
  19. Please dont become a Colt snob! There are plenty of 1911s out there; Springfield Armory, Kimber, Dan Wesson to name a few. Colt is highly overrated IMHO. Taurus and Ruger make good revolvers also. You pay a lot of money for that little pony.
