I know Illinois has plenty of casinos... Indiana as well last I heard. There are a limited number of gambling licenses the state gives out tho. And obviously, Nevada has it, as I am sure many other states do. Its all about the loopholes. The main reason the feds don't like the internet sites is because like most internet transactions, tax is not involved. _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard

Last time I clapped after the plane landed.. it was because I honestly thought the pilot was going to kill us... and I wasn't applauding him/her... it was for the fates not having a bad hair day. _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard

[sarcasm] Gee... why didn't I ever think about that. We should just follow the women's lead in always being honest about ourselves and NEVER misleading anyone, especially the opposite sex about ourselves... [/sarcasm] Edit: In response to the post that is now gone... The fact that it goes both ways is the point. And no, not bitter just pointing out the flaw in the quote _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard

Student suspended for .....GIMME A F*CKIN' BREAK!!
Cudlo replied to RastaRicanAir's topic in The Bonfire
A suspension really doesn't mean much. Its just a couple days off from school. Just to make sure, I talked to the administration at the school I work at, and generally speaking records of disciplinary action don't get transfered. _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard -

I know it happens (hell.. 3/4 of the people I enlisted with were cheating before they got out of MEPS.) What I am asking is... why does it have to be in the first damn episode? Can't I enjoy ONE episode without having to see that shit? _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard

Just saw the premiere... nice show. One thing that bothered me tho... why is it whenever they make a military themed show there has to be marital infidelity in the first episode? I am sure there were others but just off the top of my head "Over There" and now "The Unit" both have one of the wives cheating on her husband in the very first episode... Is this really necessary? _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard

Tough love... sometimes works. Tho, I have seen more kids end up leaving the house than not in this situation. Hell, I ended up leaving the house when I was in high school. 15 years old and running around Chicago, it was too easy. Alot of my friend's parents didn't know, or didnt care what their kids did. I knew a kid, had parties at his parent's house 5 nights a week. His parents, didn't give a damn that it was normal for their house to be filled with upwards of 60 teens doing all types of drugs (weed, X, coke, heroin, everything) and fucking all over their house. It was all too easy to get by when you had those types of friends (you know, the ones that don't have your daughter's best interests at heart). So.. basically if she has already fallen in within a bad group and shut you out completely, sit down and talk with her, and keep talking to her until she talks too. If you start getting a really bad vibe off the situation taking your wife and her to see a counselor as a group might not be a bad idea. Side note... Kinda wondering (if this all came out of no where and suddenly) if some event (i.e. traumatic experience) didn't send her down this path (did for most of my friends and I). Even as crazy as teens can be, this situation inspires curiousity. _________________________________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid." - Kierkegaard
