    If you staying downtown at the Convention Center, Skydive San Diego is closest to you. A little bit further are two larger dropzones (about 1.5-2 hrs. from where you will be - depending on traffic/weather) - Skydive Elsinore and Skydive Perris. All three have Tandem and AFF and all three will be able to accomodate you, even if you are not yet licensed. All three are awesome and have great instructors. You really just need to decide what size dropzone you are interested in and how far you are willing to drive. All three have great weather during that time as well.     I was looking into Spectre when I was on a 170. I found the following two offers (Spectres were REALLY hard to find when I was looking). 02' 170 w/ "about 500" jumps - asking $1100 01' 170 w/ "about 650" jumps, new lines at 550 jumps, asking $1000 This was about a year ago. I did not find an ad listing for either. I placed a "wanted" ad and these were the only two offers for Spectres that people replied with after waiting for replies for about 2 weeks.     It was great to meet you all. I had a great time and am happy to hear that despite our crappy weather on Saturday, you guys were able to get up on Sunday and still have a great turn out for the event. LOVED the tunnel (obviously ) - it's just so hard to control the laughing ! Look forward to meeting up with you all again soon!

    Lock, Stock...., Snatch, and even Layer Cake are very well acclaimed movies in the U.S. as well. I think Snatch was even given a special mention at the Oscars for excellence in filmmaking (I think). However, I think Trainspotting was better than all three of those movies (a little disturbing but still better) and it was even nominated for an Oscar here in the states. So, anyway, even US ignorant Americans have an appreciation for UK movies glad to hear it!!!!! And.....we almost forgot one of the best crime/gangsta movies of all times, which also happens to be a UK movie, A Clockwork Orange! "Excuse me while I kiss the sky..." - Jimi Hendrix

    Hijack, Hijack! Sorry, but I was going to post a plumbing question as well (sorry, just don't want to register with the plumbers forums ). I live in a two story townhome. Whenever we turn the water on after it being off for awhile, it smells like TOTAL ass (I am dead serious). My husband believes this is normal but I have never been in a house with the same problem (at least that I've realized). Is this normal? If so, is there anything to throw down the drain to eliminate or lessen the ass smell? The really sucky part about this problem is it makes for a HUGE gagging session while I'm brushing my teeth FYI: we bought the home new and it is only about 2 yrs old "Excuse me while I kiss the sky..." - Jimi Hendrix
