sure... i know that there's no Up in space,,, but within the station....i'd guess that there is..... Is there any such thing as "artificial gravity"... done with gyroscopes?? or anything like that??? which could be implemented for the folks living there??? the next door neighbors' 'kid'.... who was in Jr High. when we met. has been in Houston for over 10 years,,, working on the space station..... sort of a 'local connection ' for us...

Re: people are 'fighting' .... IF you have the personel.... can you create TWO teams ?? a few questions.... which way is UP ??? does the cupola always face the Earth?? are the station inhabitants weightless all the time??/ so that they can "float up" to where the good viewing is??? ( kinda like when Charlie and Grandpa Joe floated up, in Willie Wonka ) any more pics???/

Space Man Spiff !!! and true enough.. rubes,,,,, and ANY other single space comic with a 'bizarre' approach..... is doing Nothing but "Rippin' OFF " Larson!!!! without a doubt... sooo many favorites... but the one that i cut out and tacked up next to the manifest window... showed this guy "sittin' up' after deployment,, with a ripcord handle and cable in hand,,, a backpack container which was open, and had a few scraggly lines leading UP ,,, to a PIANO!!!!! the chest mounted reserve container was ALSO open and THAT had a few scraggly lines which led up to a ships' ANCHOR !!.. and the caption read.... " Murray didn't feel the pangs of REAL panic set in,,, til he pulled the reserve handle!!!!" hahaha In other words.... Murray was cool.... he deploys the main,,, and GETS a PIANO!!!!! BUT..... NOOOOO problem.... He's got it alll under control....just folllow his EPs and hit that reserve.... But Lo & Behold!!!!! he gets a GD Anchor.... NOw..... it's time to panic.... sooo many other great great, single frame comics. jt

The BEST !!! had to be Gary Larson THE FAR SIDE..... pure genius!!!!! billy... on the last sunday that Calvin & Hobbes ran in the local paper...( maybe 10 years ago, now ) my kids and i made this snow sculpture in their honor...in our front yard..!!!! Hobbes was about 8 feet tall... note Calvin,, siting on hobbes' shoulder..... I have most of the paperback book collection.. jmy

Wow!!!!! how very sensible.... so If YOU won, NWFlyer.. i guess i'd have to ( sadly) leave My wife and Kids,, and do my best to woo YOU, away from your man,,, so that WE could get married!!!!! now If I was the winner,,,, I've said it before, and i'd still do it..... I'd spend a couple of million,, Buy a nice Otter, hire a crew,,,, and twice a year,,, host a group of a dozen different friends,, and we would head out for a skydiving pilgrimage.. viisting 3 or 4 places on each trip.....when not on the 'road', i'd sell 10 dollar skydives,,, at the local dzs.... ( 5 bucks for me, and 5 bucks for the DZOs.....),,, nah!!! make it 7 for me, and 3 for them!!!! I'd also pay the property taxes for my Folks and each of my 4 siblings.. for the next 10 years worth.... ( that way, i wouldn't feel guilty, about the otter ) "so this woman races into the house, and YELLS up the stairs.. 'pack the bags, i WON the lottery' .." A mans' excited voice replies..."should i pack for the mountians,?? or pack for the Beach"?? She yells back.. " I don't CARE!!!! just GET OUT " !!!

simple i enjoy videos of skydives which i've recorded , which include a variety of friends over the years. One advantage of shooting so much MORE than just tandems..... Since they are all from My perspective,,, it really IS like re-experiencing the jump.. I also tend to let the camera roll afterwards, to capture all the post-jump chatter,, that often, is as much fun, as the skydive itself... jmy

was it your ABSOLUTELY first jump??? or had you done a tandem jump previously?? If you'd never been out of a plane before this,,,, then you have learned that sometimes temporal distortion / sensory overload can get the better of you... There is LOTS to do , on the type of jump that you accomplished.... and that is WHY, a capable skydiver ( or two,) goes along with you. Tandem = hang on, and then enjoy
