OMG!! This afternoon I was on the Beltway doing about 65 mph & a turkey flew right in front of me, barely missed it!! Scared the sh*# out of me!! The guy in the lane beside me wasn't so lucky, it hit him right in the middle of his windshield!! I looked in my rear view mirror & all I saw was a big POOF of feathers in the air & the guy pulling over to the shoulder. DAMN!! Don Don Here's to friends!

first time in tunnel, trying to practice heading control

I'm just learning myself & this is just my opinion, but from one "newbie" to another, you're gonna love the tunnel!! A few weeks ago I did 30 minutes with Sally down in Orlando, best money I've spent skydiving so far. I still have a long way to go & a lot to learn but it REALLY helped me. In the tunnel you don't have to worry about altitude, canopy malfunctions, landing out, etc. Just flying yourself. I wouldn't "dwell" on anything, just tell your instructor what you've told us & let them tell you where & how to make the necessary adjustments. You hear it on here all the time...."Listen to your instructor". Oh--and have fun!! Don Don Here's to friends! -

Same here. Hey Mike, no losses to report here, sorry. I took everyone's advice on where to go & eat while on vacation in the Tampa area. Didn't put any on, but didn't lose any either. My first new vehicle was a 1988 S-10 Blazer, when I drove it off the lot it had 4 miles on it. Kept it for 14 years and ended up with 193,000 when I donated it to MADD. Still ran like a top.

Saw this place down in Key Largo a couple of years ago & HAD to check it out!! I gotta say the food was pretty good!! It's hard to see but on the front of the building it also says LAW OFFICE. Don Don Here's to friends!
