  1. Why do they deserve it most? Any women in the WASP were volunteers who chose to serve their country to the maximum extent they were allowed to at the time by taking on a difficut and dangerous role. Many actual in-theater combat veterans would be conscripts who didn't even want to be there. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  2. If you spent less time syh over what people are saying and more time making sure you understand what they're saying you'd be much better off. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  3. Why do you even bother posting anymore? I'm pretty sure I remember a time when you at least tried to present an opinion. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  4. But when Obama goes on holiday he spends all his time lounging around in hipster cafes discussing Marx with bearded intellectuals. I see your point. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  5. Honestly, since that probably wouldn't rank in the top 50 stupid things Donald Trump says on any given day I doubt anyone would even notice, let alone care. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  6. I think once you realise that George Lucas doesn't make films, he makes toy commercials then eveything else falls into place Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  7. And what does that say about the way you think? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  8. Then I guess I'd better go and cry myself to sleep Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  9. I think you have to be extremely creative to put the pieces together that way. Like, if it was a jigsaw puzzle you'd be needing a hammer creative. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  10. How on earth does that even relate? How does it seem pick and choosey? Mexico have deportation / extradition laws which they are following. So...? Did he do that? Tahmooressi wasn't in trouble for simply possessing weapons but specifically for smuggling them across the border and for them being what Mexico deemed 'military weapons'. Do either of those things apply to Couch? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  11. Funny thing, if you filter the results by 'deadly weapon' the second result you get is this one - Siolosega Velega-Nuufolau, a 50-year-old woman armed with a knife, was shot on Dec. 29, 2015, in Santa Nella, Calif. Velega-Nuufolau stood in a neighbor's driveway screaming for someone to call 911. When a Merced County sheriff's deputy arrived, she threatened him with a knife. Police said she was a veteran and had mental health problems. It's not only shootings of unarmed suspects that are a potential problem (and that number doesn't count those armed with toys either), unwarranted shootings are only the tip of the brutality iceberg and in any case, when department wide coverups are involved it only takes one case to demonstrate major institutional failings. 12. He is charged with murder, so the answer would be no. Right, after getting away with brutality and excessive force for years, murdering someone and having it covered up for him he finally faces trial because a whistleblower felt the situation was so egregiously fucked up he had to go straight to the press. Yeah, I bet all the cops in Chicago are really jumping at shadows now! Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  13. Well, people that are happy with Arpaio probably include the criminals who instead of going to jail got some of the $150M in costs and damages his office has had to pay out due to misconduct over the years. Some of the people unhappy with him probably include victims of rape and child molestation that his office can't be bothered to investigate even when there's a clear suspect. Or the presumed innocent pre-trial inmates held in conditions designed to punish them. Or the political opponents he abused his office to persecute. Or the guy (and I can't even believe this is true) who spent 4 years in jail accused of trying to kill Arapio in a phony conspiracy that Arpaio's own office invented. But I guess it's as they say, the people get the government they deserve. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  14. Is it? He's facing rather more than that. So, you're imaging what might be happening in Mexico and you're getting angry at the Mexicans based on that? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  15. So you think the largest cities in the us have the largest police forces because they're liberal, not because they're the largest? How do you build a relationship with a couple of million people? Try electing Sherriffs in a constituency that size and you get Joe Arpaio. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  16. A) That's not the same as asylum. The only mention of asylum I've seen is in the 'talking head lawyer contacted for comment gives hypothetical scenario' context. B) Yeah, every story I've found that says where he is says he's in detention. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  17. Dude, catch up. He is being considered for asylum, not prison... First of all, is he? Show me a story that says he has applied for asylum. Not hypothesis that he might, but that he actually has. Second, where do you think he is right now if not locked behind bars in Mexican custody? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  18. Sorry, I don't see how that's an answer as to why the largest cities have the largest police departments? Well, what does that actually mean? Propose a mechanism for police answering directly to the people... Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  19. He's in Mexico and he's behind bars. What's not to like? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  20. California, the largest state and New York, the largest city? Gee I don't know Mr Goose, why do those places have the largest police forces? Then there isn't a single law and order Republican on this forum. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  21. So all the 'law and order' republicans should be voting democrat then? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  22. In what way are they being treated differently? And what is it you want Mexico to do? Do you want them to keep him in a Mexican prison like Tahmooressi or do you want them to send him back immediately to face US justice? It seems like whichever one they do you're determined to be angry that they didn't do the other. Did a Mexican piss in your cornflakes this morning or what? Do you want to have an ideagasm?
  23. I would imagine that most Americans would rather be deported than stay in a Mexican jail and therefore don't appeal. This kid has decided to appeal. Do you have any evidence that he is being treated differently to other people who have appealed against their deportation, other than your gut feeling that everything you don't like is Obama's fault? Yeah, Andrew Tahmooressi was held in a Mexican jail until he was deported. Where is this kid? In a Mexican jail pending deportation. I see what you mean, that is one crazy double standard!
