The bit that I can't quite grasp is where they quoted the Sheriff as saying he wasn't aware that live rounds existed for that type of weapon. Is that kind of ignorance even plausible, or might there have been some journalistic liberties taken with the quote, as with most DZO quotes after skydiving fatalities? The anecdote was about a conservative friend - an uneducated Trump supporter that made more money than my educated liberal friends - just like the words in the box. And people who make more money are the only people capable of raising kids without excessive amounts of drugs, or moving out of their parents' basements, right? Wrong. I gave the data in my reply to you in post #1640 which you ignored. Your response to my anecdote was in post #1643. A very limited amount of data. Seemingly suggesting that Trump supporters are less successful than republicans as a whole? Anyway, the point of that data and the point of your anecdote were completely different. Financial success vs being a gosh-darn down to earth sensible guy. And even if they were the same what is your point - that for every bit of real data you post you get a free pass to make an unchallenged logical phallacy? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

By the sounds of it she should distance herself from this one. Interesting thing though, when your article quoted him as saying "God will punish those involved in homosexuality," the source it links to has a fuller passage "He then adds: "God will punish those involved in homosexuality," saying it's, "not an issue that humans should deal with."" which is pretty much the position of the moderate wing of the Republican party, isn't it? This is his answer to everything. "What is your plan for situation X?" "I'll make everything better! "How will you do that?" "By being better at everything!" "But what about situation Y?" "I'll change situation Y because I know how to do it better!" "But how will you make it better?" "It's easy because the guys who created situation Y were really bad and I'm really great!" The absolute lack of any content whatsoever is so painfully obvious and yet it still doesn't seem to matter to the droves of people who are just lapping it up. I don't think Trump is like Hitler because I don't think Trump has any ideology at all (I mean, say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos!) but for the first time I can really understand how Hitler got himself elected. It's fucking ridiculous. For the sport I work in pretty much every supplier is forecasting minimum 15% price hikes, some as much as 25 or even 30% over the course of the next year. If that's mirrored elsewhere then every sector of retail is going to bomb and high streets will turn into ghost towns. Do you want to have an ideagasm? -
