    No, they were shot at for having their heads so far up some pokeman's ass that they didn't see someone in front of the car, drove at them and then didn't realize they were getting shot at during an assault with a motor vehicle! None of that is true. Literally not a word of it. I don't even know what the fuck you're talking about It's not up for grabs because it is so clearly obvious that it was not justified. The gun guy's own statement proves it was not justified. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

    No. The kids, when confronted, escaped by driving away - even though they would have been well within their legal and moral rights to run him over in self defence. The guy with the gun attempted to murder them while they were fleeing from him, hence the bullet hole in the back of the car. He fired at the car. At least one of the bullets happened to hit the tyre, the rest of them could have gone anywhere. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

    I've got to admit I don't get it, at least in terms of recusing herself because she said it. If she hadn't said it, she'd still think it. Several other Justices probably think the same thing - probably in roughly the same proportion that other people trained to recognise good and bad logic do. Are they OK to rule on him because they think he's a buffoon but haven't said he's a buffoon? The bias is still there just the same. Is it about justice or the appearance of justice? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

    But it's not a two way street. The police can release their own videos of suspects (filled with innocent or potentially innocent people) without having to ask anyone else. They have no bar to clear. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

    Andrea Leadsom is a horrible woman, and a flash in the pan. Her only claims to fame are lying on her CV and leading the fight to keep gay marriage illegal. The next Tory leadership battle will certainly not take place in such chaotic circumstances, and she will be nowhere in it. Probably not. Brown's problem was that he dithered interminably on whether or not to call the election. May should (and will) just say "No, I won't call an election because we've got enough to deal with right now". People like certainty more than they dislike hypocrisy, so she'll be fine on that. Her decision (and risk of dithering) is on Brexit and article 50. Do it now, do it later, or dither. (BTW, is it right to say she was 'elected' Tory leader when her opponent simply dropped out of the race? She definitely would have won anyway, but still...) Do you want to have an ideagasm?

    Please take into account the UK's 64M population compared to the US's 300+ Million and compare on a per capita basis. Largely down to guns? - No, largely down to intentions. Ok, so if the UK was as big as the US it would be 120 vs 2,282. Does that sound any better? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

You said earlier in the thread that people should not feel free to challenge or refuse unlawful orders and searches from the police for fear of being shot. If the word terrorism is being bandied around so freely then is that not state sponsored terrorism? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

    Yes, at the least there are several examples that have been posted here over the years of people who were told to fetch their ID being shot for putting a hand in their pocket/car door/dash. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

    I would say that he should be extradited to Iraq to face trial there as well after he's released from british prison, but he'd probably just bribe his way out. So maybe he should just be dropped off in a Baghdad market square with a sign round his neck explaining who he is. It's absolutely unfathomable that the Iraqi security forces are still using these things though Do you want to have an ideagasm?
