I think most people would take action if they were falsely imprisoned regardless of how they were treated. This guy received a share of a mulit-million doallar lawsuit. A normal person might move on and set up their family for life. So you can see that being falsely locked up would make people want to do something - but the way they were treated during incarceration wouldn't have any impact on what they wanted to do or how strongly they wanted to do it? And being locked up, tortured, beaten and generally mistreated with the goal of causing extreme psychological stress, for years, by a western government, while also in the company of real extremists who do preach about the evil of the west and the importance of taking action against it.... could feasibly cause someone to become an unstable extremist. Don't you think? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

?? Officials at Guantanamo had nothing to do with the reasons the inmates were there, they were in charge of keeping them locked up and beating the crap out of them. And if the people who processed his release knew something we didn't, then why was he released? Being able to proving he was a bad guy wasn't a concern for them, getting around that annoyance was why they stashed them in Cuba to begin with. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

You assume innocence. I make no such assumption. It's not an assumption. We know there are innocent people in Guantanamo. Any proof? There are still prisoners there who were cleared for release years ago after complete review of their cases so yeah, there's proof. Where is your proof that every single past and current inmate at Guantanamo was a genuine enemy combatant? I'm not the one claiming innocence. No shit, Sherlock. You're the one claiming that every single past and current Guantanamo inmate was an enemy combatant. Where is your proof? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Personally I don't think the incarceration of innocents enemy combatants in Guantanamo Bay is funny. The torture that happened there certainly isn't funny either, and suicide bomb attacks from Islamic militants sure as hell isn't funny. I guess you have different standards. The innocent people locked up inside Guantanamo Bay are not enemy combatants, no mtter how badly you twist morality, international law, and the basic meanings of english words. So, if they aren't EC why didn't your hero Barack close GITMO like he promised? Who are 'they'? Are 'they' every single inmate at Guantanamo? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

A quick google of the law in question shows that there needs to be some form of recklessness, negligence, or threatening behaviour involved for the law to apply. I doubt any prosecutor or jury in Texas would think that a simple hunting accident qualifies without some serious aggravating factors. Lets face it, how ever stupid Cheney was for accidentally shooting that guy I'm going to bet there was a heck of a lot more going on when these morons shot each other. How would a successful and brilliant businessman like Trump not know that high import taxes would hurt the retail industry? I don't know... Might not have discussed it with Harper. So... what you like about Trump is that his entire campaign was based on fairytale promises and wild exaggerations of his own knowledge and ability, and now that he has to face the real world no-one has a clue what he's going to do? He did not say he enjoyed confiscating the Jew's goods. Again, many people enjoyed living through the blitz. That doesn't mean they enjoyed being bombed. He also didn't actually do anything but be taken along, and he also didn't have a choice if he wanted to live. Have you seen Schindler's List, or read Schindler's Ark? In which case, again, what is it that makes you think gods favour is upon Trump, and that he will bring God back into the foreground, given that nothing in his life indicates that he has the slightest interest in god or religion?
