And this is the problem with the polarised nature of today's politics where everything is either left or right. I mean, we're talking about white power fundamentalists and Nazis - honest to god swastika wearing Nazis - and your response is 'well some liberals are bad too!' What? How do you manage to make this an us vs them thing? It comes across like you're claiming them for your side. These guys aren't even (or shouldn't be) part of the conservative vs liberal spectrum. They're floating off on their own in another moral and political dimension entirely. But you feel the need to create an equivalence with liberals? I honestly don't even know where your thought process is right now... Do you want to have an ideagasm?

So hundreds of thousands of Japanese civilians had to be killed, burned or given radiation poisoning to send a message to Stalin and that's ok, and doesn't reflect badly on Americans as a whole. It was a horrible thing to do to be sure. But it did end WWII. Yep, Americans were willing to use the single most powerful weapon of mass murder ever devised to end the war. How do you deal with white people when you realise those are the lengths they'll go to? If locking up people with Japanese DNA because the Japanese army used some (tactically effective) kamikaze pilots is justified.... Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Re-read my post. "It was pretty bad then". Was it the right thing to do? No, but they went with what they felt they had to do. When you're dealing with motherfuckers going "BANZAI!!!" going suicide dive bombing in their planes, you realize what they're willing to do to kill you. Radical islamists aren't much different. You speak of this as if before the war we knew they were going to start using Kamikaze pilots. I was referring to the Japanese. Just to be clear. Their end goal was to kill you and if it meant they were going to die to do it, so be it. Right, because along with the yellow skin and slanty eyes comes the suicide pilot gene. But even if you try really hard there's no rationalisation for using Kamikaze pilots to attack military targets, and it reflects so badly on Japan that even American citizens who are ethnically Japanese need to be locked up? You whine that Bush 2 wasn't treated well enough for his dignity and decorum (damn ) but say that it's ok to dengrate Obama because he caused some unnecessary deaths? You do see what everyone else sees in those statements, right? It's a shame you and Rush can't even try to compete in the arena of ideas, instead making do with hypocrisy and misdirection. I was wondering about that. There was a chart of Senators' voting ideology scores in an NYT article that puts Flake in a group of 5 on the furthest right (along with Cruz and Paul) with clear daylight between them and the main Republican block. So it's not as if he has any qualms about the supposed Trump agenda. (Except that Trump claims to want to provide better universal care than the ACA, whereas Flake probably doesn't think poor people deserve any healthcare at all.) Do you want to have an ideagasm?

That's exactly the point. You bitch and moan and whine and cry about how divided the country is and why isn't the other side trying to unite with you... when your own view of the other side is that they are the enemy in a war. That everything Trump is, does or says is excusable because he's fighting your war against the people you blame for spreading disunity. Look how Trump treated McCain. Oh wait, I forgot - it only matters that the other side was bitchy towards him. It doesn't matter that Trump made worse comments than anyone else, because he's your bitch. Maybe when one of their own says it (instead of those liberals who must always be opposed), people like Rush will be able to look at Trump's embracing of mass-murderer Duterte and his genuine admiration of de-facto dictator Putin's 'strong' leadership and acknowledge that it is not right. These are not the actions and ideals that any democratically elected official should be praising, or - perish the thought - desire to emulate. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

I understand that you said lots of people from Florida are moving to Georgia, implying that your life hiding away up there because you're scared of the rest of civilisation is more desireable than living where Normiss does. I understand that the numbers actually show that more people are moving to Florida. I understand that you need to dodge the conclusion that living in Florida is still more desireable than living where you do (a conclusion which flows from your own logic), so I understand that you are playing games to avoid addressing it. Based on the waves of Floridians moving up here, it looks like soon you are going to have all the reality for yourself. You can keep it. Is that what it looks like? Because in the last 6 years while Georgia's population has grown by about 600k, Florida's population has grown by 1.8M. It's ok though - I know your perception of what's happening trumps what is actually happening. So yeah, get a load of that Florida - ghost town, right? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

That's incredibly naive. We do have a two tiered justice system. That's why poor, petty criminals can get life in prison for a third offense as mild as stealing a slice of pizza, while rich, big thinking criminals like Donald Trump can spend decades stealing money and services from contractors and not even face criminal prosecution. It's why any street criminal involved in a crime can face 1st degree murder charges if someone dies in the process, but corporate manslaughter has such strict conditions that charges are basically never brought against executives or managers even if multiple people are killed because they ignored basic safety procedures, failed to provide safe equipment etc. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

So again, why are you so concerned with politics? I do not understand why you keep asking that question. Because you keep saying, like you just did above, that it's actually a bad thing to be interested in wordly matters instead of spiritual matters. Yet you are so invested in wordly matters that you hate people who disagree with you on political issues. That must be terribly bad for your soul.
