Now since you probably knew that's approximately what I was going to say, and since I know that you don't agree with that, care to explain why you're being unreasonably argumentative?

The pardon of the Blackwater mass murderers is not only amoral and unconscionable, it's damaging to the nation and dangerous to any westerners working in the middle east. Plus, the sentiment you express is flawed. It's not an either/or thing, like ok hes pardoning terrible people but at least he's not breaking the government. No, his abhorrent misuse of the pardon power is just a sign of how far he's willing to go in other areas over the next month, including attempting to break the government. Just goes to show the insanity of the US lame duck period, IMO.

The people that are left aren’t skeptics in the strict sense of the word, they have made up their mind that they don’t believe Mann. And yet you are here saying that if Mann (who you think is being dishonest because he is biased) showed them all his inner working they would give him a fair hearing and you would believe their verdict on his work, because you think they would set aside their bias. This really precisely demonstrates why there’s no upside to that plan. You have already made up your mind to believe the people who have already made up their mind not to believe him - while you attack him for having already made up his mind. And as to your impression of when you ‘met’ him at a seminar... get over yourself. Remember, he does this for a living. Every day working on this and speaking to people about it. Do you honestly think at this point a dilettante such as yourself has anything to say that he hasn’t already heard a thousand times before from other amateurs recycling the same objections from the same denier sources? If it appeared that he didn’t give your objections any thought and dismissed them out of hand it’s because he has thought about them and evaluated them so many times before that there’s no longer any useful purpose in doing it again.
