Just because they're making the same stupid mistake you are does not make your mistake any less stupid. Do you want them to give a consistent, unchanging message or do you want them to react to the latest findings and recommendations? You can't have it both ways and pretend to be anything other than the brazen partisan hack that you are. And I guess you've noticed that all of you articles are bashing the Biden administration over the fact that the public are tired of covid and the public don't trust the fact that the recommendations keep changing as the Delta variant spreads. Quite frankly, the public needs to man the fuck up. They were hoping to move on from the pandemic? Well unfortunately, just like your creepy stalker ex the pandemic is not ready for the public to move on just yet and they have no choice but to accept that. It's still here and winter is coming. That has nothing to do with the Biden administration's messaging.

Current experience says that too. In 2001 the Northern Alliance of disparate tribal leaders controlled around 30% of Afghanistan. 20 years of trying to institute a western central government, and a few weeks after we started leaving the Taliban control absolutely everything except the Panjshir valley, and they’re probably in a position to blockade that into submission for the first time ever if they can be bothered.

Unless (because again, they've spent their entire lives living and fighting in Afghanistan and know how the seasons there work even better than you do) they'd have remained patient and taken over just as quickly in the spring. And then we'd be looking at the exact same evacuation clusterfuck only worse, because there wouldn't even be any troops there to protect Hamid Karzai Airport. Hey, is there an echo in here? Edit: Honestly after 20 years of pointless fighting, 20 years of abject failure in understanding how to work with the Afghan culture culminating in this moment, you're still sitting there with such arrogance and such hubris that you genuinely think you have one simple, easy magic bullet idea to fix everything that's gone wrong over the last month.
