I hear you.... I pay $31 CDN to 9500 works out to about $28 US to 9500. Canada is full of Cessna dropzones - only a few turbines. One thing that I think needs to be on you website and obvious so everyone can see is the fact that this dropzone requires AADs for all jumpers, regardless of experience or licences or other ratings. Anyone who arrives without an AAD will ether have to avail themselves of the rental gear or go home disappointed.   13. I started using a S/L as well and didn't get to do a free fall until jump #11. I kept screwing up the practise pulls. I had to do 3 in a row right but I kept screwing up. As of the end of this month that will be 30 years ago, I'm still jumping. If I can do it, you can too

  16. If the gear has a TSO label and seal with a riggers seal code on it, it falls under power of the FAA to check it anytime any place. Have you ever heard of "ramp checks"? It is done at Air Shows quite often. Thing is as per the original post this happened in Canada.... sorry I don't think the FAA is going to be showing up at anytime soon.
