Mine's been fine since I bought it... mine also. don't they reset themselves if at altitude too long. I think I read this in the instructions. rm Check the software revision http://www.alti-2.com/Neptune_Owners_Pages/neptune_version_history.htm In version 2.6 released last August one of the updates is: "The timeout function that zeros Neptune to current ground level has been modified. This should eliminate the problem the some users have experienced with Neptune getting stuck in aircraft mode after driving uphill. Also, it should significantly reduce the possibility of Neptune zeroing prematurely if a jumper is circling at very low altitude. The timeout value (in minutes) is shown on the status screen." and "IM On A Jmp" menu item has been added (under DZ Setup), the menu item can be selected if you are involved in a jump with an odd profile, e.g. a low altitude demo where you may be holding for a long period. Selecting this option will stop Neptune from zeroing the altitude and going back to ground mode. This is automatically cancelled after a normal jump. If you need to cancel this option under other conditions, select "IM on GND". "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

My Ex and I did this using lawyers we found here http://www.collaborativelaw.ca/ Although the process worked, we did get divorced with little cost and little bickering I have to say that I was not impressed with my lawyer and wouldn't recommend him to anyone. I had to remind her lawyer that this was a collaborative process and that he wasn't being paid to go after me for everything. Needless to say I would not recommend him either for someone that is actually looking for the collaborative process. This situation was astounding because both of these individuals were supposed to part of the team that originally got this going in my area. The paper work was initially prepared by her lawyer and I don't think my lawyer read it all. If I hadn't reviewed the document and found the glaring mistakes. Costs less but you get what you pay for, perhaps I should have paid more. I really think that the main reason things went so smooth was because my view was that it was just money and she could have it as long as I was the custodial parent of my son. So I gave her lots of money and the dog, and I got the son. The son really liked the idea because she later had the dog put down "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

You decided to look at the source code for my personal web site because we're such close friends. Not very likely, but thanks any way, I'll buy you a beer when we next meet. "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

The next time you have a problem with someone you should not resort to implied threats in PMs of hacking personal web sites in PMs. Get a thicker skin and more experience.

Eden is an excellent dropzone with a great track record and knowledgeable staff. If only I lived closer I would be there every weekend. In 2004 I drove from Calgary to Eden every weekend, 3.5 hours each way, from the beginning of May until the end of October. this might help http://web1.msue.msu.edu/vanburen/incomp.jpg Edit to add: the orientation of this picture is odd - consider the front of your computer as the bottom of this picture and it will probably line up once the cover is off "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy

I agree with "rarely" "Potatoe" is an archaic spelling of the word potato. The Oxford English Dictionary lists potatoe as a variant form, the most recent usage cited being from 1880: "She found the parson in his garden..making a potatoe pie for the winter." However, in modern English it is considered a misspelling, since although the English plural, potatoes, is spelled with an "e", the singular is not, and no dictionary considers potatoe to be an acceptable modern spelling. Here's what I found when I pasted "turn off the windows start up sound" into Google: Turn off that annoying (and sometimes embarrassing) startup/shutdown sound Have you ever turned on your laptop in a quiet room or seminar and been blasted away by the Windows startup theme? Maybe you turned on your PC late at night when others were sleeping and woke someone up? The startup sound serves no practical purpose and will get many laptop users in trouble one day. So take five minutes to put an end to this annoyance. For Windows 98/SE/ME: Go to the Start Menu and select Settings->Control Panel Double click on “Sounds” In the scrollable box titled “Events,” scroll to and then click on “Start Windows” In the drop down menu at the bottom titled “Name,” select the top option, “(None)” Repeat step 4 & 5 for the “Exit Windows” event Click OK Close out of the Control Panel window For Windows 2000: Go to the Start Menu and select Settings->Control Panel Double click on “Sounds and Multimedia” Click on the “Sounds” tab In the scrollable box near the bottom titled “Sound Events,” scroll to and then click on “Start Windows” In the drop down menu at the bottom titled “Name,” select the top option, “(None)” Repeat step 4 & 5 for the “Exit Windows” event Click OK Close out of the Control Panel window For Windows XP: Go to the Start Menu and select either Settings->Control Panel or just Control Panel (if available) Double click “Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices”. If that is not available, skip to the next step. Double click on “Sounds and Audio Devices” Click on the “Sounds” tab In the scrollable box near the bottom titled “Program Events,” scroll to and then click on “Windows Logon” In the drop down menu at the bottom titled “Sounds,” select the top option, “(None)” Repeat step 4 & 5 for the “Windows Logoff” program event Click OK Close out of the Control Panel window If you decide not to follow these steps and are in a situation where you don’t want to disturb, a neat trick is to put headphones in your audio jack as Windows is starting...Enjoy! I had much the same question about why Mirage has not approved Vigil so I wrote them and asked. The answer came back... "All Mirage rigs come Cypres ready. AirTec and Mirage has done extensive factory testing with Cypres units to insure proper compatibility. To this date, the manufacturer of Vigil AADs has not responded to our requests for similar testing to be done with Vigil AADs, therefore we can not approve the installation. This being said, there are many Mirage containers in the field with Vigils in them with no reported incidents." Perhaps the same is true with RI "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
