  4. Nope its not just boxers. The barking cat my ex-wife had would let fly with both sound and smell. Thought about using matches but the fluff ball would just gone up in a burst of flame. Things were bad enough with the ex at the time, didn't need to set the barking cat on fire. Of course it would have made the thing go WOOF one last time. 14. ...it's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine... Well since the world is always changing, it is the end of the world as we know it. Welcome to the future that is to come and a new world. I feel fine about that To take your question more literally: Nope the world is not coming to end, at least not literally for about 5 billion years. Until then it will change. 17. I want to check if I am understanding correctly. I think you are suggesting that Hell is not found in the King James version but later versions, like the ones you noted, include a reference to Hell even though most Christian concepts of hell come from extra-biblical sources. If this is the case it appears that the more recent versions of the Bible are now including concepts that were not in previous versions. Can I then infer that if the Bible is the word of God that it appears that the word is being revised. Not saying this is good or bad, just that the word of God appears to be different depending on which version one reads. 18. Check out this link: http://www.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?quicksearch=hell&qs_version=31 Look at the links at the bottom as well -- they show other words that signify the essence of hell. I didn't check all the references but the wording of these references seem to be inconsistent with what I recognize in the King James Version and would therefore come from more recent interpretations. As such the introduction of the word Hell could be bringing in a modern concept that was not there before. 19. I am no great religious scholar but I want to know where the idea of Hell comes from. My understanding is that Hell is not mentioned in the Bible. If that is so, then where did Hell come from? 20. I didn't know that looks like my reasoning might be flawed Like I say. I've been wrong before and lived. Edit to add: from the next post following this one it looks like I might at least be "warm" "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
  21. I'm surprised lessons are required for this... hasn't everyone figured this out? I must be showing my age "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
  22. I am guessing here but I want to see if my guess is right. There's two ways to do that 1) wait until someone answers and hope their right or 2) take a shot at the answer and wait for someone to tell me I'm wrong. I've been wrong before and lived through it, so here what I "think" might be the reason. The container/harness and reserve are all TSO'ed so that why they work together without special permission. With and AAD you are introducing a non TSO'ed piece of equipment into the harness/container so that is why permission is necessary. Sounds reasonable - lets see if I get shot down "Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away above the chimney tops, that's where you'll find me" Dorothy
