I'm already legal since I'm 16. In Germany you can drink beer, smoke cigarettes and go out to the clubs when you are 16. Wodka, Tequila and hard stuff is allowed at the age of 18, though. But one more year and I'm legal to drink in the U.S. WOHEEEW Thank you and have a great day! Max

Hi folks, I'm about to get a used Stiletto 135 with 1000 jumps on it..It's from DOM 97. It has a brand new lineset on it, with 0 jumps. My question is: How will it perfom in comparison to a new Stiletto? Does the flare gets worse over the time? Thanks for your input.. Feet up! Max

Maybe its a bandwith problem..(try a ping to mapquest) or you need to use another browser (e.g. firefox).

I had almost the same situation 2 years ago.. I was also with a freefly instructor and he briefed me before to fly daffy after i heard the dytter, just to try that position out. I did so and when i turned away to track i had already passed 2400ft.. I ended up pulling my main at 1800ft. Everything went OK and I had no cypres fire. I never thought about pulling my reserve, because I was just in a hurry to pull my main. Things happen fast when you come closer to the ground.. I learned a lesson from it: Never do any more freefly after you heard your dytter, even if it's only for 1 or 2 seconds.. Just my thoughts.. Feet up, Max

Someone told me, that there was a wingsuit flyer who grabbed his risers during opening, but his canopy went into a hard spin. Both of his hands got twisted up with the risers and he couldn't release one of them. There he was, flying like jesus nailed to the cross and he couldn't do anything. At a very low altitude he managed to clear his right hand out of the mess and cutaway. He is still alive now, but his reserve ride wasn't very long... I personally grab my risers after the first stage of the opening.. At that time you can see mostly if your canopy is going to be OK or if it's doing something strange. Sure, I made my fingers also bloody because I grabbed to early and then had a twist... Feet up! Max

Hi, I'm going to Naples, FL in august for vacation. I know it's probably not the best time of the year to jump, but my parents are making holidays and i can join them. Last time I was in Florida I went to Skydive America, Palm Beach. But it has closed now, and I'm looking for a new place to jump near Naples. I don't want to go Skydive Miami, because last time I was there, it seemed to me more a tandem-factory than a good dropzone. Dropzones that come to my mind are Clewiston and Lake Wales. Do they operate during august? Are there other dropzones in reach that anyone can recommend? I preferrably want to do some freefly and get some coaching, if possible. Thanks in advance! Feet up! Max

Olav Zipser not much to say about him.. Flies like a dolphin swims in the water. And spends a lot of time to brief and debrief every jump. He makes you laughing in the air and therefore brings you to relax and breathe... And he also teaches you the zen-approach of freeflying; all soft and smooth and meditative.. The jumps with Olav were awesome and he is a nice guy after jumping, too... Also very important for a good coach. Feet up! Max

Hi fishy, We did a 3-way headup linked out of a otter, but did a front-flip as exit-move. It worked pretty good and we all ended up standing. 2 in the door, 1 inside the plane. The jumper inside must give enough momentum to the group so the thing starts rotating; the key to success is to straighten all legs at the same time, otherwise the thing starts to spin.. But sorry, you asked for a 4-way headup star, without a flip I guess...
