  1. Take a careful look around. See who's the toughest MF, get him a bottle of his preference (may be expensive). Now, when in good mood - ask him to sign your rig. You should be able to sleep tight wherever your rig is. What goes around, comes later.
  2. I don't think of it as a problem, rather as a way it is. Most of people with similar mindset will survive their errors. Out of survivors, we will admire the most successful ones, declare the champion and give them a medal. This thread only encourage wannabe "experts in swooping progression" What goes around, comes later.
  3. and we do. Death is havin' a bad time but what the hell. If I'd have a kid in their forties and if they would convince me to visit a 'drag with death' track, I would've stay convinced as did. so, both are right
  4. You know, if you keep saying "it's so easy" in public, eventually they're gonna change it to less easy. What goes around, comes later.
  5. Yep! The ugly manner of the ignorant and oblivious. Gets far into someone's shallow or deep effort. What goes around, comes later.

  9. Instead of £50 I got this: "Dear Participant, Thank you for taking part in our study examining the psychometric properties of the recently developed Risk-Taking Inventory for high-risk sports. Please find a brief summary of the results below. In recent years, researchers have realised that some individuals may deliberately seek risks over and above those inherently associated with the activity, while others take more precaution by minimising the risks involved. The newly developed Risk-Taking Behaviour Inventory is the first scale designed to assess risk-taking behaviours in high-risk sports participants. In the present study we examined the concurrent and predictive validity of the inventory. The results provided support for the validity of the measure. This has further implications for future studies in the high risk sport domain. Advancing our understanding of the mechanisms underlying risk-taking in high-risk sports could progress the development of suitable teaching programmes and coaching strategies for use in high-risk sports. Thank you again for your time and participation." Can somebody translate it to plain English?
  10. I think Luigi's wl was 4.25 on 39 ft2 while Pal T had 7.4 kg / m2 which equals wing load of 1.51/ft2 Is there some different calculation? What goes around, comes later.

  14. Of coarse, I should've packed it so there would be no doubt who's fault it was. What goes around, comes later.
  15. In 108 jumps I've had 3 reserve rides, couldn't afford tips at the time. Do the math. p.s. in a way, I did TIP a rigger for reserve repack What goes around, comes later.
  16. As far I think, it's an anonymous compiler (think Wikileaks). Yet credible, the info inside is referenced and checkable. I use AAD and would recommend one, as long as those documents were read and understood. What goes around, comes later.
  17. It's great Article, thanks. This too What goes around, comes later.

  20. Of coarse, thank you. I read it years ago. I just didn't connect it with "aborting", while it clearly is a set of maneuvers needed. I should reread it at least ones per season. What goes around, comes later.
  21. I would like to be prepared for surprise and react the best I can. I want to know the best. How does one train for aborting manoevre? What goes around, comes later.
  22. I've had 3 reserve rides before I figured how to prevent it - learn packing. It works (so far) What goes around, comes later.
  23. Every bird flies more solid with less restrains. Loosened chest strap helps that. I started because of slider flapping noise and then eventually discovered how good my bird feels about it. edit: and I loosen it all the way, without disconnecting it. What goes around, comes later.
  24. Hey, if you can share some more ideas about chops from that much experience, I'm all for it. +1 How about some hesitating reserve openings? If there weren't any, no wonder you still use RSL and I don't. What goes around, comes later.
