I posted this in the Speaker's Corner but wanted to post it here as well since there are quite a few people that don't read SC and it's not political.. Hope the mods don't mind. This is a 6 minute audio clip on our founding fathers done by talk show radio host Glenn Beck. This is one of the most moving and patriotic pieces I have ever heard. He does an essay like this on every holiday. This one was on Memorial Day. This is something every american should have to listen to. Enjoy. www.cajunchickens.com/files/founding fathers.asx Forty-two

There. Got it to work. Thanks, Phree. I never claimed to be smart with computers Forty-two

I listen to Glenn Beck on a regular basis. He is absolutely amazing. He is one of the funniest bastards you will ever listen to. On holidays and special occasions he does what they call essays. He did one for MLK on MLK Day, one on our soldiers for Veteran's Day, etc... I was in my car one day when he did one for Memorial Day. It was about our founding fathers. It was one of the most moving things I have ever heard. I wanted to share this with everyone. Do yourself a favor and listen to it all. It's truly a moving and patriotic piece. Thank you very much to PhreeZone for helping me out by hosting it. Thanks, bro. Much appreciated. www.cajunchickens.com/files/founding fathers.asx Forty-two

- Taking away a viscious, brutal, murderous dictator - Ensuring Iraq will not attack us using NBC weapons. - Removing a dictator who was in contact with terrorist organizations and refused to allow UN inspectors to do their job. - Allowing Iraq to finally be free. Calling these reasons for going to war "unnecessary" is yet another reason I'm glad to not be aligned with the liberals. It's like the old saying goes...Say No To War (unless it's a democratic president). Forty-two

So you post extreme views...and then when people challenge you on them you flip-flop and say they were'nt your views? Hmmmm. Very interesting. Forty-two

There will be no draft. It's a scare tactic Kerry is using because he is desperate for votes. The hysterical thing is the democrats are the ones in congress who are wanting one...not the republicans. Forty-two

So to recap...Keith is the only liberal on these forums who believes his man will win. Simply amazing. Gotta love the overwhelming faith. I can sit here and honestly say I believe without a doubt Bush will win. Hands down. No question in my mind. I'm up to speed and knowledgable enough in politics to know this is a gimme. Don't believe me? Remember this thread and we'll bring it back out after the elections. Forty-two

Since when are libs consistent let alone logical? Just look at the many different stances their man has made on Iraq alone! Forty-two

I heard they were going to drop the "C" from their network name. Forty-two

So out of all the liberals on these forums who talk all this smack about how Bush is the second coming of Satan, his policies are horrid, terrible public speaker, not intelligent and the worst president ever....only one fucking person believes Kerry will win?!?!?!?! This tells you many things. First it tells you that they aren't happy with Kerry. They don't like their own man despite what they say. They wish they had someone else. The other thing it tells you is that liberals know they will lose in November. They are certain of it. They keep having their other liberal friends give them that pep talk but they know in the end Bush will be our leader for the next 4 years and Kerry will fizzle out like a bad fart. Forty-two

The funny thing is the president doesn't initiate a draft. Congress does. Once it is voted on and passed only then does the POTUS sign legislation which starts the draft. Oh wait...there's more. Look up bills HR 163 and S 89. You'll see those were 2 bills to re-instate the draft. Guess who introduced those? Charles Rangel and Ernest Hollings. By the way, they're both democrats. Good thing they're both stalled right now and will likely go nowhere. That's ok. Guess you missed that part in the Liberal Handbook. There's some good books at the library that will help you become more up to speed on how the system works. If you need further assistance PM and I'll help you out. Forty-two

Liberal & Conservative....what are they?
tunaplanet replied to SpeedRacer's topic in Speakers Corner
So you reversed what I said. Not too original nor is it anywhere near reality. The fact is liberals want to give money to people in need...conservatives want to train and educate them so they can help themselves. Forty-two -
I was going to reply with a few reasons older women are better than 20 year-olds but figured my pervertedness would take away from your well thought out post Forty-two

I am 29. I have always preferred older women to younger when it comes to both sex and relationships. Give me a 40+ woman over an 18 year old teeny bopper any day. Even women 25 and below are a turn off. Never met a mature, intelligent woman under 25. Forty-two

What is oldest person you've had sex with? 47 for me. You? Forty-two

Not looking for hunches. Looking for someone to stand up and state firmly they believe Kerry will win. Are there any liberals out there who firmly believe Kerry will win? Anyone at all? Forty-two

Do you view humans like Hobbes or like Rousseau?
tunaplanet replied to lawrocket's topic in Speakers Corner
In regards to fuss, snivel, whine and cry...those are a few of the only ways an infant has to communicate. When they're hungry your kid can't pole-vault out of his crib and jog to the fridge where he'll make himself a hero sub. No, he has to resort to other methods to accomplish his needs. It doesn't stop at just food. They do these things when they're tired, need to be changed, upset, scared, etc... As far as striking at others when they don't get what they want...well that's bad parenting. Somewhere he was taught or led to believe those actions are acceptable. Infants are born pure and innocent. Where they go from there is up to the parents. Forty-two -
This question is for all of the liberals. Through your vast research and using your great wisdom, who do you think will win the election. I don't want to hear about how you hope he wins...I want to hear from those who honestly thinks he will win and why. I seriously doubt any liberal will admit they think he will win. The liberals for the most part know better. They know who will be the president for the next 4 years. Forty-two

Liberal & Conservative....what are they?
tunaplanet replied to SpeedRacer's topic in Speakers Corner
Liberals and Conservatives all, for the most part, have the same goals. It's how you get there is the conflict of interest. A liberal and conservative are walking down the street and see a homeless person. Both want to help him. It's how they do it is what seperates the two. A liberal would propose the government give him money at the tax-payer's expense. A conservative would propose to help the man, not in the form of money but by education, job skills, etc... so he can in turn help himself. When you do things as a liberal it ends up running itself in a circle...never getting anywhere. It's a short-term fix but in the long run it falls short. Conservative methods tend to be about the future. They see the problems that lie down the road and take precautions now...not later. Also liberals tend to be mean, bitter, angry people who are unhappy with everything in life. Instead of striving for a better America they do what they can to dismantle it...causing chaos and instability at every turn. They want to split this country in half. They are bitter, angry men and women who aren't happy unless another liberal is in office. Most of what liberals preach is contradictory. Their logic is full of holes and made of flip-flops. Their belief is it's better to have a man in office who they don't care for that much instead of actually finding someone who they do like. Look at Bush. The majority of his supporters love him and can't wait to run out and vote for him. They are enthused and excited about their man. Can you say that about Kerry? Not at all. In fact, the liberal's motto this year is, "Anyone But Bush". There is something terribly wrong about a party who is voting for someone they don't even care for. They don't even think he will do a good job. Hell, they don't even know what his goals, ideas, plans, policies and vision for the future are. They're just voting for him because there's a picture of a donkey next to him. Forty-two
