http://www.rasmussenreports.com/Electoral%20College%20Projection.htm Much better site. Not bias at all...plus they don't give the state's votes if it's within 5%. Forty-two

Wow, starting to get ugly. Guess all that, "Kerry won the debate" rhetoric didn't mean shit. Wanna know why? Style vs Substance. He looked good but in the end he is still a liar. Oh well. Check out the latest poll numbers boys and girls. Oct 07 Bush - 240 Kerry - 169 Sep 30 Bush - 213 Kerry - 169 Guess whose not a toss-up state anymore? You got it. Florida. I still like, "Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..." - Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003 Forty-two

They're almost as interesting as these..... "Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. 23. 2003 | Source "One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." - President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998 | Source "If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." - President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998 | Source "We must stop Saddam from ever again jeopardizing the stability and security of his neighbors with weapons of mass destruction." - Madeline Albright, Feb 1, 1998 | Source "He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." - Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998 | Source "[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs." Letter to President Clinton. - (D) Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, others, Oct. 9, 1998 | Source "Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." - Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998 | Source "Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies." - Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999 | Source "We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and th! e means of delivering them." - Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002 | Source "We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country." - Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002 | Source "Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power." - Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002 | Source "We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." - Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002 | Source "The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..." - Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002 | Source "I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force -- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." - Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002 | Source "There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years ... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction." - Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002 | Source "In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons." - Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002 | Source "We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction." - Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), Dec. 8, 2002 | Source Forty-two

Uh huh. And if you believe Soros had nothing to do with it I have some ocean property for sale in Wyoming. Forty-two

Funny. The site takes you directly to Soros' webpage and here is what George Soros put up himself on his own page. "We do not own the FactCheck.com domain name and are not responsible for it redirecting to GeorgeSoros.com. We are as surprised as anyone by this turn of events. We believe that Vice President Cheney intended to direct viewers of the Vice-Presidential Debate to FactCheck.org." Forty-two

Remember the subtle, backhanded comment Edwards made to Cheney about his daughter saying that he was happy to see him show support for her being gay. I would have given my left nut to see Cheney reply with, "You know Mr. Edwards, I am happy to see you show support for your wife despite her being obese." Man, good times. Forty-two

You're dead wrong. Of course, it's the same ole same ole. Forty-two

Actually if you were up to speed on the present you would know that it was a dead site at the time he said it. I know...I checked it out. Within a few hours Soros bought the site and made it an anti-Bush page. Forty-two

Correct. Edwards is a good speaker (former trial lawyer) but yes, Cheney is a wizard. He can't be shaken. Forty-two

Same-Sex Marriage Amendment Fails in House

So one person who is the exception to the rule makes the entire idea moot? Hardly. Oh, by the way, no one's hiding. Perhaps the reason I don't respond the nanosecond you expect me to means...oh...I don't know...maybe I was...busy? Forty-two -

So would it be ok to marry your brother/sister if one of you were not capable of reproducing? Forty-two -
Same-Sex Marriage Amendment Fails in House
tunaplanet replied to narcimund's topic in Speakers Corner
Gay marriage is just morally wrong. Period. There are hundreds of other reasons...with that one being the over-shadowing one. It's the same reason you can't marry your brother, sister, mother and father. It's morally incorrect. You may disagree with that but then again there's people that will disagree with 1st degree murder being against the law. Everyone has an extreme opinion about something. Raising a child in a gay household is emotionally and psychologically disturbing and damaging to him/her. Being gay isn't natural. I remember getting sent to the principle's office in the 1st grade for lifting up the dress of a female classmate. Can't remember ever getting in trouble for trying to see what was under John and Frank's pants. Men being attracted to females and vice versa is natural. Period. No arguments will convince me nor any other sane poster otherwise. In my opinion...and this is not directed to you nor any gay poster in particuliar...being gay is a sick and perverse lifestyle that is morally wrong in every aspect of the word. If you want to be gay then fine...that's your business. Whatever makes you happy. However don't expect the same rights of a male/female relationship let alone want to raise a child. Forty-two -

Same-Sex Marriage Amendment Fails in House
tunaplanet replied to narcimund's topic in Speakers Corner
So does that mean you should be allowed to marry your sister? What about your mother? How about your dog? Where do you draw the line? I mean, afterall, you feel the government should not be involved with personal issues such as marriage. Forty-two -

Which college team will Steve Spurrier coach next?
tunaplanet replied to tunaplanet's topic in The Bonfire
Clemson is one of the teams I considered (hence why it's on my poll list). I just see too many pros for Texas. 1) Fed up with Mack Brown. 2) Can't beat OU. 3) BCS title game nowhere in sight. 4) Continues to fail at nabbing the Big 12 title. 5) Excellent golf weather. 6) Will take over a team that is heavily loaded with extreme talent. 7) Recruitment is one of the best in the country.
