People that have your mindset are definitly in the dark when it comes to what it takes to defend this country. It's nothing against you personally...it's simply the fact that you're uneducated in this area of knowledge. Quoting the amendments sounds great and may make you feel all patriotic on the inside...but in the end you have to sleep with snakes and wolves to emerge on top. Forty-two

Was that supposed to be funny? Forget political views. That was just plain stupid. Nowhere near the humor and originality of JibJab. Forty-two

I disagree. But hey...everyone has an opinion. Forty-two

I always wondered what sort of people go banging on doors for one of the most biased websites on the planet, Guess we know now. I put those people in the same category as the religeous freaks that annoy me when I sit down to eat and that little black kid who tries relentlessly to sell me melted kit-kat bars. Forty-two

Huge but neccessary. There are hundreds of plots and crimes of all kinds detected and revealed by Echelon. Some I can not post on a message board but there are many I can. It is definitly something we need to have continue to happen. Forty-two

This isn't the same thing you're talking about but they also have a technology that allows the operator to see exactly what you're typing on your computer as long as he is within about 200 feet regardless of terrain, walls, etc... Believe it's called Tempest. Forty-two

I'm not referring to the internet. I'm talking about phone conversations. Forty-two

Were you actually watching the debate? The moderater had to ask him 3 seperate times to clarify his answer. Of course everytime he was asked that he started off, "I will. But before I answer your question I want to go back to what Bush said earlier..." Same ole same ole. Forty-two

This was actually an extremely clever move by the republicans. Rangal drafts a bill to reinstate the draft...not because he is in favor of it but so Kerry can scare the voters with it. "Look, there's a bill in congress trying to bring back the draft and Bush will sign off on it if you all re-elect him." So the bring this bill to the floor for a vote. Everyone was shocked, especially Rangal. No one dreamed they would bring it forth. And why did they bring it to a vote? So they could show the Americans that this was a horseshit bill designed strictly to scare voters to turn to Kerry. Oh, by the way, even Rangal voted against his own fucking bill. Guess all those bullshit MTV commercials telling us that Bush will draft you if you vote for him are now officially debunked. MTV...stay out of politics and stick to showing your lame videos and even lamer reality shows. Forty-two

They are using many programs that filter through billions of phone calls world wide. The problem lies in when a call is flagged due to a buzz word it needs to be monitored by a human to determine if it is a legitiment threat or just babble. When I was in the Navy the number of calls flagged globally by the NSA was around 3 million. The vast majority of those were goose chases, however, it still takes man power to review these. You encounter even more trouble when those flagged conversations are spoken in a foreign language. Forty-two

Not nearly enough interpreters. Forty-two

Stayed on track? You're surly joking. He avoided almost every single question. I particuliarly loved the part where the lady asked him a yes or no question and the first word out of his mouth were neither...nor did he end it with them and wasn't anywhere to be found in the middle. Then Bush steps up...points this out and then answers yes. Why does Kerry avoid everything, especially the yes or no questions? Because that goes against his politics of being on everyones side. ROFLMAO. That is hands down the funniest shit I have ever read in my entire life. Completely untrue but hey...that's what makes it funny. Keep up the laughs. I need them tonight. Forty-two

So Kerry, Clinton, Albright, Berger, Daschel, Pelosi, Levin, Gore, Kennedy, Byrd, Rockefellar and Graham have never been exposed to political lying? Hmmm, interesting. Forty-two

Hey, Rhino. I heard about this and wondered something. I haven't heard this mentioned yet so maybe I'm just a crazy conspiracy theorist but..... I would like to know that if the schools that were targeted are polling stations for the election? Maybe the potential attack was going to be on election day and not neccessarily on our children during school hours. May be worth checking out. Forty-two

Bad news for Bush the morning of second debate (economy)
tunaplanet replied to PhillyKev's topic in Speakers Corner
Click Here At the end there's a great line that reads, "Comparing the Bush economy to Hoover's Great Depression is just silly, and implying that tax cuts are not contributing to job growth deserves an "F" in Freshman economics. Forty-two -
Yes. It's called dedication and determination. I understand the last president you guys had with those traits was Kennedy but believe it or not those exist with in leaders today...Bush being one of them. Forty-two

Yes. Have you? Forty-two

Seems everyone thought Hussein had WMDs. Forty-two

Exactly. Bush is the one who removed a murderous war criminal from power who had nothing but ill-willed intentions to not only the US but others as well. Now the Iraqi's are free. Now the Afghans are holding an election where 40% of those voting are women. I praise Bush who was man enough to make the tough decision knowing it could cost him the election. The world needs more leaders/men like Bush. Forty-two
