You know that. I know that. People like Ron and other level-headed people on these forums know that. But... You're wasting your time arguing to liberals about it. They have no clue how the real world works. They have no street smarts. They have no real-life experience when it comes to war. Agreed. We removed a murderous dictator who committed mass killings of his own people, was in close contact with Al Qaeda, showed gross hate towards americans, was actively seeking or had WMDs and was planning terrorist attacks against the US. Agreed. But the majority of the time we're not discussing benefits and qualities. A lot of the time we're asking questions like, "Do you think Kerry lied about his purple hearts" and the most popular response will be something along the lines of, "BUT BUSH LIED TO US ABOUT WMD's, blah blah blah". Liberals cannot handle the tough questions about their candidate without whipping out the mirror and spotlight. I tested the liberals in a thread once to see if they could do it. Looks like there were 5 significant changes. 1. Luke doesn't scream as he falls at Cloud City. 2. Lucas revoiced Boba Fett's 4 speaking part lines with Temura Morrison's voice so it is more consistent. 3. Jabba looks a lot better in, 'A new Hope'. 4. Ian McDiarmid plays the emporer with new lines in the, 'Empire Strikes Back'. Before it was played by a woman in a red mask and voiced by Clive Revill. 5. The 1997 special edition of "Return of the Jedi" added a few "Star Wars" worlds joining the celebration of the Empire's demise at the end of the film. For the DVD, they've added Naboo, a planet that figures prominently in the prequel trilogy. Also, Anakin Skywalker is noticeably different this time around. When he removes his Darth Vader helmet, he now has no eyebrows! It's probably safe to assume he singes them off in his battle with Obi-Wan Kenobi in next summer's "Revenge of the Sith" and a change had to be made. But the most noticeable change -- and perhaps one some "Star Wars" diehards will have a tough time stomaching -- is Hayden Christensen (who plays young Anakin in the prequel trilogy) now appearing in the scene where the "force ghosts" of Anakin, Obi Wan, and Yoda smile at Luke. One thing's for sure, there's plenty for fans to debate -- that is, until the trilogy comes out yet again on another format in the future and Mr. Lucas makes his inevitable changes ... Forty-two

Throughout my years I've learned that when cornered with tough questions people often use "mirroring" and "reverse spotlight" techniques to divert the attention off of the matter at hands. Should Bob Schieffer, chief Washington correspondent for CBSNEWS be replaced as moderater for the Oct. 13 presidential debate? Bush has not made a decision as to if he'll call for Schieffer to be replaced or not. Many of Bush's advisers have reccomended it. He should have aplogized to Bush personally on national television for attempting to deceive the american people into voting for Kerry based on forged documents CBS ran with knowing all along they were fake after 2 experts told them they were.
