We managed to sort this problem out with vidiots help. It turns out it was my fault I had the dates all wrong so when I when I was trying to take them off the neptune it appeared as if they were from the futrure.. My Bad.. M.J

Ye that sucks a bit, It would be nice to have all the info for all the jumps. I wouldn't do 10 jumps in a weekend here in the UK so I suppose that will give me a chance to download the info at the end of the weekend. Vidiot just sent me a temporary license file to try with and that seemed to work, well sort off.. I thinks the jumps are in the furure because the neptunes dates in in an american format.. Its not hanging my pc now though.. Edited: Sorry I asked if its possible to change the date format but I forgot I asked that question a week or 2 back Thanks for the feedback.. M.J

Yup thats fine, I just want to get 'a' jump off my neptune to look at it. So what you saying is it should download 1 jump and let you look at the data? I want to see it work before I pay for it... Thanks

I just gave that a try but no joy..It shows the status of it downloading the jumps (the 3 jumps on the neptune) but when its finished the 3 it gives the message then hangs. Thanks though..

I have download the evaluation version of Paralog and I am trying to download a few jumps off my neptune with it. It starts downloading the jumps then after a few seconds it gives an error saying that the neptune is not registered. Ive been told its doing this because its the evalution version and that it should work but I just can't save the jumps, but after its giving that message the softare crashes ad makes my pc hang. I have tried this on 2 different pc's now and its doing it on both. Anyone have this problem before? I have installed the IRCOMM2K driver as per the instructions from Alti2. Thanks

Haha, ok I guess I will have to wait and see if I can get hold of a rep or.. Carry around a calculator in pocket to work out farenheit to celcius.. Its not really that important. Just a luxury I suppose. Thanks M.J

Thanks, I will have to find out and see if there are any field reps near me. Thats what I would like, the temp in dec celcius and speed in mph and altitude in feet. Maybe they will allow you to change this in a future software release? M.J

Ah ok thanks, I tried that but it didn't seem to work but I have just noticed that it is now showing in celcius.. Does that also make it show the altitude in metres?

Does anybody know how to find out the version of software that is running on a Neptune? Also the serial number? Also is it possible to change the temprature from farenheit to celcius? Thanks M.J

Thanks, you are right. It is the same quality.. I tried it.. The thing is it only captures for 10 seconds then it stops.. I think its in the MPEG settings to set the capture length but those are greyed out. I got tired of messing around with it and ended up using Movie Maker 2 from XP SP2 to capture what I needed.. It worked fine.. Thanks M.J

Maybe thats true.. The captured video doesn't look as good quality as whats playing straight off the camera though..I will have another look at it tonight.. This is my first time doing this so have to just figure it out as I go along. Thanks for the help M.J

I had most of those settings configured.. 'device control' and 'capture plugin' etc etc.. I can capture video how it is at the moment but I can't change the quality settings etc etc.. Also I am using, MediaStudio7 not VideoStudio, Thanks

Hello I am trying to capture footage from a PC-109 using MediaStudio Pro7, I am using the capture software that comes with it, the problem I am having is that most of the options under the setup menu are greyed out. Eg: Video Format, Audio Format, MPEG Settings, etc etc.... I am using Firewire to connect the camcorder to the PC. Has anybody seen this before or know why its doing it? Thanks, M.J

Thanks for all the help. I just found out that they do make a steup up ring from 25mm to 37mm. The guys at the camera shop just didn't know what they were talking about.
