Looks like the show got its own appointment via sticky note. Just read today that they let the contracts expire for everyone on the show and there is no effort by Showtime to pick it up. Very true, could be. However there are a few that I know were not that way. I had one Marine that quit about 4 years from retirement because of his dislike of what Bush was doing. Maybe within his group of friends. I'm not in the game right now (I was, though.) but I've got my own group of friends who currently are. They say just the opposite. I'm just saying that your opinion or that of your friends on this matter is probably not very accurate overall. All recently released troops that I have seen in my office do not talk positive about Rummy, Bush, Iraq or this administration. I recently stayed at a 4/5 star hotel that had a mini bar in the HUGE room I was staying in. $8 for a bag of M&Ms! Anyway.....When I checked out I had a few charges against my room from the mini bar even thou I didn't use anything. I guess when I lifted the bottles out of the fridge a sensor marked it as "used." You meant OLED, didn't you? ;-) OLED is just coming to market, but translucent thin-film displays suitable for use in a visor are not here just yet. The hud concept is pretty cool though. I wouldn't use one because it would be a distraction during training/competition, but the gadget freak within wants one anyway. There was a jumper in Hawaii that was showing off his Heads up display at the camera seminar at Quincy a few years back. Instead of using a ring sight the display showed in real time what would have been showing in the eyepiece of the camera. Look at that, you and I can agree on stuff. I fully agree. It's more the thought that goes behind the gift than getting the gift. It's about spending times with someone you love or care for. I could care less if I get a gift to unwrap (although I doubt I am going to get the only thing I asked for this year )- I usually buy what I want for myself and don't need someone to get me more stuff. But if someone has gone out of their way to invest time and/or money into getting me something - that is what really matters. If you don't care to spend the time to get something for someone, then don't get them a gift. Where do you see intent in there? The Lanham Act doesn't require intent, but only a likelihood of confusion. Didn't realize the description was that broad. My background on "mark" infringment is related to only one college class and I have gone back to that book and looked up some of what I studied. They used the word "intent" in the textbook. Intent: The state of one's mind at the time one carries out an action. I would think that naming the false companies that close to existing companies or using trademarked names on a website would show intent. Even if it didn't it seems to fit the broader "likelihood" you mentioned. He can't? What's stopping him? Well, inside Chicago you can't own a handgun for one, and the CCW was voted down in IL (barely). The bars in IN that I have been to tend to not allow guns inside. The shooter was a trained Marine. There is a chance that a civilian with little or no training could have caused more damage. I'm a good shot (and better than some CCWs I know), but I doubt I would be good enough to open fire and only hit the perp in a crowded, panic filled environment. Personally speaking - I feel safer knowing that some wannabe with a CCW can't bring his gun into a place with booze. Most people I have met that say out loud "I wish I had my gun" tend to have some serious issues and I wouldn't want them going into "hero" mode while I am around or my loved ones are around. Now, I have no problem with an off duty cop with a gun. They have been trained and tend not to go into "hero" mode. Quite a few friends of mine are cops, sheriffs or state troopers and they almost always have a gun on them. Before their training I would never have wanted them out with their gun - I knew how they acted with them. But once they came back from training they acted more mature and responsible with the weapon. Sometimes I like to play the older classic games. I have 80 Atari classics on my laptop for that reason. Not all games have to have DirectX9.0b bells and whistles for them to be fun. An AMD64 or P4 with HT are some nice CPUs that can match up with a PowerPC. Server 2003 is one of the better setups I have played with in some time. If you want to really spend some money, get yourself a RS/6000 S70 Also, 2003 can't be that bad, its what Digital Dimension used to create the VFX on Blade:Trinity.
