Then you haven't seen the bytch at the convention! I am trying to find my second and third tent - I hope I can find at least one extra tent to bring with me. The one I want to find has a main section and two side rooms - sleeps 12 comfortably :) Since I live about 80 miles from Rantoul, it's not a big deal for me to load anything extra into the car. When they are imaging your head, as they did with me, the do inject a dye intravenously. Worse than an MRI is a SPECT test I had done this past March. This is a nuclear medicine scan and you have to go to the Nuclear Med dept where the cancer patients are treated. They inject a nuclear dye into you prior to the scan. That made me nervous. Hey, I had something like that! They strapped me down for that one. I know I was in the cancer ward and there were nuclear symbols all over the place. That is some of the worse bits - all of a sudden you realize that your entire body is itchy and that you neeeed to stretch out muscles, but if you move you need to start up again. The noises were too much the first time I had one to fall asleep. I'm not claustrophobic, but it can mess with your head a bit when you realize you couldn't sit up if you wanted to. No, it doesn't make sense..but you will find those sort of strange thoughts in your head as you stare at the tube for an hour. BTW - each minute seems to be about an hour long - it is boring as hell. Get out of debt and set myself up so I could live a very simple, worry free life. I'd quit my job and find something I actually enjoy doing, and then go back to school to get my degree in Aviation. I would say that's true of most people. I hope most people would stand behind whatever they say whether it's online, over the phone, in person, in a note, etc I've found otherwise, bt for the most part, the attitude people have on here reflects who they really are. When I first got onto the internet in 91, I was a stupid college kid that played up keyboard courage. Now, if I can't say it in person, I won't say it online. I've met plenty of dz.com people - some are very much like they are on here, some are a surprise and are nicer in person. If you do that, be vigilant about others still flying. There was a serious injury incident recently that I believe was partially caused by this behavior and a very short lapse in awareness. (Personally, I cower like a weasel and swing my head like a shark while I set my brakes and uncollapse my slider in the landing area.

I know someone that broke his femur because of a freebag. Last I saw him, he was still walking with a limp. I've also seen video of the freebag end up in the lines of someone's canopy. Follow it down if you want, but never catch anything. It's not cool, it's stupid and it WILL eventually kill you. As we have seen, skill level doesn't matter in this. Canopy size and wingloading don't matter either. I don't even know why anyone thinks its a good idea - if you have ever followed a chopped canopy you would realize how crazy it flies. If I am doing a low exit, this is my style. No matter what position I am in the door, I pivot with one foot off the frame back into the prop blast and go right into a track with my hands behind my back. I wait one second for the tail to clear and I pull right from the track. I lost a PC some years back due to a lightning strike. Ever since that I tend to unplug my surge protector from the wall during the spring/summer time here in Chicago. I'm glad I have done it this year - I've had thee strikes in my neighborhood in the last month including the house across the alley (saw that one happen and I felt a wierd temp change as well...its the closest I've been to a strike). Ohh...I am far from perfect, and I have my selfish moments as well. However, I know that how I treat others is actually a reflection of who I am. It's not only how you treat the most important people in your life, it's also how you treat the most insignificant people in your life. Its seems that way sometimes huh? I think we need more guys like that though Jen How sad is this whole thing? Someone that doesn't cheat is a rare thing? Are people really that dumb? If you date someone be loyal - it's not that hard. Don't start flirting, don't allow yourself to emotionally (telling your SO that you think you are in love with someone else is just as damaging as sleeping with someone else) or physically cheat. Don't go into another relationship until the previous one is fully over or the divorce papers are signed (gotta love those religious hypocrits!). I've never once had an issue with being loyal, I've found loyalty to be the easiest thing in a relationship. So being 100% loyal your entire life is a hard thing? I can tell you first hand it isn't at all. It's simple - if you cheat on any level in any sort of relationship you are selfish, immature and most likely a huge asshole. Have some self control, respect for yourself and respect for those you have in your life.
