In my eyes, she seems that she would be desireable and her phone would be ringing off the hook. Just goes to show the grass is not always greener... Everyone always thinks the grass is greener. A lot of relationships come to an stupid ending because people believe that there is something better out there instead of appreciating what is right in front of them. I tried dating a few actress wannabes here in Chicago and they were some of the most annoying self-involved people I have ever met. How about this - let's say a jumper decided to do a right hand hook into the middle of the left hand pattern. You shouldn't mock management - they have soft skills you could never understand! Behold their might!!!! For instance - say you were an inside sales guy that needed one of the larger cubes to do your meetings in, and the national/correspondance sales guys never met their clients should have the smaller cubes, right? Since I don't date guys, I'll take your word on that. But hearing what a lot of what my female friends say...it sucks for both sides. I do agree - you should never date someone because they "complete you" you should only date them if they compliment who you are. This is the mature way of finding happiness in a relationship. Me? I went to Catholic School 1-6, 7-8 was public Jr High, High School was a college prep seminary and College was a seminary as well. Yup, I studied to be a priest - quite a few on here already know that. That much exposure to religion, studies and exposure to other religions and the politics and anger associated with them has led me to believe that religion is the bane of humanity. This doesn't mean that faith and hoping in a better place is wrong - but organized religion leads us down very dark roads in history. Is there a supreme being? How the hell do I know, I can barely balance my checkbook some weeks. I don't practice any religion at this point in my life. I was just watching the Screen Savers and they mentioned that Linux, Abobe, Mozilla, et all are coming out with an open source automated plugin system that will work on all of those browsers. Spoiler Below Dr. Oct only had four arms in the comic book. Well, if you pay attention to the trend in the Spiderman movies the focus is more on the Peter Parker story line and those in his life. The bad guys take a bit more of a backseat role. If you are a fan, you would have seen two characters in this movie that eventually become his enemy. His professor becomes The Lizard and the astronaut John Jameson becomes the Living Wolf. Of course you saw the genesis for Hobgoblin as well at the end of the movie (if you think about the conversation with the mirror in the first movie Oz asks "where are you" and the Green Goblin says "right here" which turns out to be true with the mirror...nice touch IMHO). Also, comic book fans would also see a few nods to the books - Spiderman No More was the title of an actual comic and the shot with the garbage can in the alley was the cover shot. After reading the Newsweek article on the movie I caught the inside joke of "my back, my back." Stan Lee gets to be a hero in this movie - nice touch. Also, the mention of Dr. Strange was good as well. Usually the complaint most people have with superhero/comic book movies is that the feel of the original is gone - there is that feeling of discovery and excitment when the hero first learns to use their powers (go web!), but I think they did a good job of doing that again in this movie. But does someone want to explain the part with getting the cake from his neighbor? The only thing I could guess was "having his cake and eating it too?" Kirsten Dunst has said that the third movie will be her last movie. Peter Parker eventually marries her and later on their is a divorce because she can't handle being 2nd place to Spiderman - and that last shot of her in the movie seems to already echo that. So, I'm wondering if they don't use that story in combination with Hobgoblin's revenge in the next movie - maybe he kills MJ? That leads me to thinking this - they will only be able to get maybe 4 or 5 total movies out of this series before it becomes tired. I think they are moving the story along at a good pace and the continuity from movie to movie is fantastic (unlike any Batman movie). Inexperience. Wait until you're a little older. When you hit about 10 or 11 thousandth rejection, it's much much easier. Actually, they tend to get worse. As you get older and burned more you get bitter and want to be alone only to find someone amazing. Then you let down your guard, fall in love, plan a future together, invest your trust in someone again, spend more time together, and then they pull it all away for the dumbest reasons. You end up worse off then when you started because you have had your trust betrayed when you have given it all to that person, and even more bitter because you look back and realize you would be better off right now and in less pain if you had just stayed single. But you know what...you end up bitter and wanting to be alone....then you find someone. But this time, maybe she is the one? Or she could end up being worse than the last one. Have you even seen the movie? Do your realize the the parts that attack the Bush Administration don't even come from Moore's mouth? He stays silent in al of these parts and lets others make his point, and it is some of the most powerful moments I have seen on film in a very, very long time. The parts of the movie that damage GW and his crew are from those trying to make money from it (don't worry what this will cost you - the money and oil is there and the gov't will pay whatever it takes), Bush's own quotes (You are the elite, but I consider you my base.) To a mother in Iraq crying/asking God to revenger the lose of her children and home (5 funerals in one week), to soldiers saying how extreme it is to kill, to war tired soldiers in Iraq wondering why they are there and why they get paid less than $2000 a month to put their lives on the line when Haliburton truck drivers that travel the same route every day make $10,000 a month, to soldiers with missing body parts or lasting nerve damage talking about how we shouldn't have been in Iraq and how they will vote Democratic, to a very patriotic mother in Flint that reads a letter from her son he wrote before he died in a blackhawk crash (and the words from him call GW an idiot and that we shouldn't be there, none of it makes sense, etc) to having her break down at tears at the site of the White House for what it did to her family. These moments take up the majority of the movie. The human cost for his actions are terrible.....and to think that it happened due to a pile of lies about WMD and so companies can make money in Iraq. Do you really wonder why Moore goes out of his way to make GW look like an idiot and says the things he does. Moore is needed in this country. He may not always be right, he may not say the right things but he gets everyone to think and question the way things are going. The way I look at it, we have GW one one extreme and Moore on the other. Would you like to comment on the numerous recounts that STILL come out in favor of Bush, or are you sticking with the Hilteresque power grab idea? I don't see what dz.com guidline I violated - I was responding to a section you mentioned...I felt the need to point something out. The reality is, the entire election was suspect. From the states, the the gov't, to the media...all of it. The United States should not have had such a debacle. We had GW before the election saying that Florida was signed, sealed and delivered and you could bet on that. You had a Bush relative being the only one in the media to say otherwise and the idiots at the other stations took that as truth without full factual checking or waiting for the polls to close (everyone needs to have the story first!), to no one in the Senate signing an objection to the decision from the Supreme Court despite numerous passionate objections, to votes that are still missing and talked about on a weekly basis in the Florida new media. It is a black eye on our country, and it was a sign of how our new president would run things. The debate on the election will never be over, and we are on pace to have the same thing happen again this year. GW and his crew are corupt, and they will do what it takes to make him win. I do not need to resort to calling someone the new hitler. Besides, Hitler had a different vision; he wanted world domination and to rid humanity of what he considered imperfections. GW just wants power and money.
