Actually I was the other who didn't know what it was so asked. The pm I got back gave another term and credited that one to American Pie. ~skysprite

Hehe, that is too funny. I have a huge smile on my face just thinking about a good reach around.... I also have a smile on my face, now that I know what it is While I have a fairly good idea of what the second term is (based on context), I've never heard that before either. Guess I'll have to rent American Pie. ~skysprite

Do you believe in fate, chance, consequence . . .
skysprite replied to kelel01's topic in The Bonfire
To clarify, I do believe there is a natural flow, which can be called fate, but not in the strict definition of the word (predetermined events). I belive that because we were given free will, naturally we can choose to "go with the flow" or not, for whatever reasons we decide. In effect I do believe that we can "screw up" a "Mr. (Ms.) Right" situation, but to a certain extent that natural flow will always be there and we'll get a second chance of sorts, maybe more. But that's just me rambling. ~skysprite -

What about you're late for work, therefore avoiding a fenderbender? Had you not overslept and gone to work on time, you would have gotten into the crash. One will never know, but have you ever looked at it that way? Rather than consequence, I call it coincidence or synchronicity, meaning that I feel things happen at the right time for a reason. I do feel that you directly influence certain events, but overall if you're open you'll receive "guidance" of some sort. ~skysprite -

Wow, this is really awful news. I had my tandem at Elsinore and from the moment I first got there I knew that I wouldn't go anywhere else to do AFF, and that's still true today. It is great to hear you currently still are running business as usual, and people like me (and other students on dz.com) guarantee you future business as well. Right now just work on getting gear and getting back on your feet. Money and bodies to fill your planes and the sky will just come pouring in. I've been to Elsinore twice (once to do my tandem, and once by invite of Michele and Rosa to just hang out and watch) and I already have that feeling that Elsinore is my second home. My heart goes out to all of you, and if you guys physically need people there to clean up, rebuild, etc., please let me know and I'll be there just as soon as I can! ~skysprite

Very cool. I remember one year when Santa had to contact my Dad to help him out because he and all his other santa helpers were too busy and they needed one in my town! My sister and I thought it was so cool.

I'm very fluent in cat. Although, I don't believe I can phonetically spell out the language for you. If the cat's looking at you like your stupid, you're getting it right. ~skysprite
