wine works in Byron too.. You can come to byron and use one of my rigs.. er.. umm.. wait.. no you can't.. but I am sure bonnie could dig something up for you to use in exchange for a little wine for us at byron.. Huh, bon-bon? Why not? Must be because your canopies are too big and slow.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. It does suck but it is TEMPORARY and for the greater good of my family. Luckily, my wife Lorrie doesn't want to see me give it up any more than I want to so she is behind getting me back up ASAP. I may just take Ed and Kris up on their offers. Well, things have not worked out in my favor as of late. Buying a House + Fighting with Car Insurance = Sell everything I can. So, this Saturday at the Lodi Boogie will be my last day of skydiving for quite some time. ALL of my gear will go up for sale the following Monday. It is a matter of necessity. Hope some of you can join me for some fun jumping during the day and some much needed partying during the evening. I am angry and bitter...I have nothing else to say. Jeff

You guys already know this over there but I am saying it anyway. You guys are great!! I had a wonderful time Saturday and it was good to finally put faces to these DZ.com names. Let's see if I can remember...ChopChop, Roysplaything (didn't actually meet but great photo taking), Hookit, Cornholio, Deuce, Gravitygirl, Tallguy and a few others I am sure... Great manifesting too!! Being from Lodi I am not used to accurate time calls (over here 15 minutes could mean anything from 2 to 30 minutes) and NOT having to wait two hours for a load, that was cool too. Oh yeah, love the 14+ K you get too on every load. Hey, I left some wine on the counter and in the 'fridge, make sure someone enjoys it! I'll be back for some more fun very soon. Jeff Damn, how could I forget Iwan....sorry.

Ya know, I was going to do that this summer. But, the business in Lodi ain't what it used to be from what I understand. There seem to be plenty o' packers most weekends. I know, I know....But there is something about making both my girls happy, I just can't help it. Thank God my wife HATES mini-vans. But I did sell my 5.0 quite a few years ago.....

Actually I got some good news this morning. We are borrowing against my wife's 401K and there is more available then we originally thought. Like 30% more.

So we are in the process of purchasing a home. It will max us out financially, and I mean max us out . It is a big commitment but it is for the greater good. I need EVERY penny I can get my hands on to make this happen in the manner we want. So, I am considering selling all my stuff and giving up the sport..."temporarily". I hate to sound like a whiner but this is REALLY bothering me. There are two positives though. 1. My wife and daughter SO want this house = Happy family. 2. Making this sacrifice now should greatly improve our financial picture within 18 months = Back to jumping with new equipment and hopefully flying lessons to boot. Thanks for listening, Jeffrey

I just found out Saturday that my tracking skills are much like my RW and Freefly skills. In other words, they SUCK TOO!!! Guess I need to quite screwing off all the time and start working on some off this stuff. I am still planning on NOT heading over there Saturday, since it seems that everytime I DO plan on it something gets in the way. Jeff

what do you mean with this Jeff? We're thinking Lodi here too.. You better be there, last time we came over you were nowhere to be found. I'll be there. But probably only for a few jumps. BTW, I just got my Brand New RW Flite Suit. So if anyone needs a belly flier that WON'T be in his slot just let me know!!! If you behave, maybe I will take out the entire group even, it makes for good video... Jeffrey

At ~100 jumps I did a couple of jumps with a borrowed Stiletto loaded @1.4 in a borrowed rig with a new to me pull out system just to "check it out." At ~100 jumps landed on the frontage road between the power lines and the freeway. Not smart, but one of my best landings ever. Must have been the pressure not femur myself or die either. Jeff
