If the list keeps growing like this perhaps the Twin Otter will show.... Then everyone can go up on the same load every time. Yeah, I know NOT! OH, I am bringing WINE, BEER and SEVERAL bottles of CREME LIQUEUR Hmm, what if I am in no condition to drive home..... Well shit, guess I will have to take it easy then. Damn responsibilities.

So I tell the boss I am taking an extended lunch, no problem. Drive to my Lodi DZ hoping to get lucky....NO GO. No one jumping. Not even the 182 has been out today. Now I am back at work. Maybe tomorrow......

All right Chris!! I'll bring and extra bottle and see ya there. Does anyone actually stick around the DZ after the last load? Or is all this talk regarding "beverage" consumption just that, talk? In other words, shall I bring a stocked ice chest as well or leave it at home? You'll have to excuse my ignorance as I have never been to Byron. Don't be dropping the 'F' now.... Jeff

Nope, many schools here in Cali won't allow dodge ball either. And, my daughters softball program doesn't keep stats/score until 10 or above.

So I just called Byron and they said I would be welcome to jump there even though I am just off student status. I am already nervous, but I AM IN. Hmm, maybe I can hitch a ride in the 99, that would be sweet!! Jeff

Spoke with my JM to get some advice on traveling to a new DZ, being that I am a beginner and all. So, if all goes according to plan, I intend to be at Taft on Saturday December 27th (praying for good weather). This will be my FIRST time jumping at a DZ other than my home, Lodi. Yes, I said the 'F' word. I will have ice chest in tow (it will be full) along with a couple of bottles of wine for those of you with a sophisticated palate. Kidding, kidding.... I am looking forward to hopefully meeting some you. I am so excited I can barely stand it!! Now, I best fire off that USPA application, hope I get registered in time. Jeff

Sounds awesome, glad you had a great time on your 8-way!! I am VERY new (8 jumps) so I should probably either jump with coach rated divers or do solos. If all goes well, I will be visiting Taft in a couple of weeks and am very much looking forward to it. Jeff
