    rc planes

I want a twin otter rc , I found ONE guy that makes them, but I am still wondering the quality, and he uses electric motors b/c he said they are easier to match rpm's.
  8. sounds like that st&a article from the ranch web site about chain of events
  9. Anyone seen the new nano technology coated shirts? It will NOT let any liquid touch the shirt. You can even fill a shirt pocket with a coke and drink it out of your pocket with a straw without your shirt getting wet. There are shirts made by a well known designer that have this coating. Hillfiger, polo, gap I dont remember which one it was cool shit.
  10. How do you wash something like that? Medium with a light spin cycle and hang dry?
  11. I was told we are not allowed to talk about or do that at the dz anymore. Something happened that was harassemnt related
  12. Why not capture it while your camera outputs the time. Mine does it. It has the option to only show it on the camera screen, or to send it along with the video.
  13. I am gonna hold out for wings. I was trying to get used, but that is like shopping for a pre made body cast to fit you. Ooh well
  14. Every jump is about the landing, it is what decides life and death. I understand your statement about the pretty lights tho.
  15. I will be 250 otd soon but I see what your getting at. I am just getting trigger happy for a sport rig. 1200 seems so good when the wings I want is 5100
  16. Dolphin container, 230 performance design main chute, wich was relined in 2002, 150jumps since relined, new cypress in 2000 with new battery installed in 2002, and has a 222 raven II reserve chute. 1,200. I am not familar with dolphins, but I ran across this rig, it seems like a good deal how FF friendly are they, and if the re not how hard is it to get the mods to FF it? They cypress alone seems like a good deal with the rig.

  20. I wonder if the day after christmas everyone in the whole USA took all the present wrappings, boxes, styrofoam, plastic, bows and put them in a big pile how big it would be... any guesses? We could then take all the christmas trees dry them out till they are like T.N.T. throw them on top of the pile and light it on fire.
  21. To me it would seem that if your not required to wear one in which case it would have to be of an approved type, and you are not making an intentional jump, only used for a emergency you could use whatever you wanted. I mean I would want anything over nothing(over simplified) But it does say this. (e) For the purposes of this section, approved parachute means-- (1) A parachute manufactured under a type certificate or a technical standard order (C-23 series); or (2) A personnel-carrying military parachute identified by an NAF, AAF, or AN drawing number, an AAF order number, or any other military designation or specification number I guess that helps keep the fly by night operations from comming up with some old "widow maker" piece of crap and calling it a bail out rig.
