Did they ever get the CASA back into the air saturday. and why diddn't the chopper come?
-
Ok thanks. Our team just got accepted into the national building collapse response team.
-
Cool I agree we did it the same way.

Do a nestea plunge, get in the door backwards(assuming it is a big door), and give your instructors the tounge while you fall backwards in a sea of cool crisp air. Edited to add: that made me thirsty

Put a big ass aerator in the pond it will circulate the water keeping it fresh. This is done here in the south to keep static water from becoming pond scum [url http://www.absoluteponds.com/water-garden-supply.htm] aerator info and supply

I am on a technical rescue team that does high angle rope rescue. In our standard operating procedures it is written that there will be no smoking in a harness or around harness and rope, stepping on, or dropping a piece of equipment higher than 3 feet. This includes rescue harnesses, load bearing life rescue rope and all all hardware. If any of this is found it must be destroyed, or turned into utility rope. We were told by all the major webbing and rope material makers that cigarette smoke over time damages the rope, along with the possibility of burning it. Stepping on it damages the fibers of the webbing and the rope. Has anyone in the skydiving sport heard of this? We use the same materials.

Broken steering line and bruised tailbone

I had the same thing happen in middle school, me and my best friend were swinging on the swing, and I swung so high the S hook where the chain attached to the top pole unhooked and I flew off and landed on a pine tree root. Could not walk the rest of the day. When I go to the movies and sit for a few hours it hurts like hell to stand up. -
Friday night must have been david allen coe night. Freezing my ass off in the tent while drunk jumpers do karoke.
-
No clue on how many on the risers, but the main and lines are new (approx 4 jumps). I have another set comming.

I could steer it. it was pretty hard, but the thing is 370 sqft. I decided once it met the "3 S" requirements I was gonna land it. I did not want to cut away a stable parachute, just so i could stand it up. It had not gotten that bad. -
Well I am getting another set of risers for it from aubrey, and riggger will have it to install aad so i will get him to give her a once over. Thanks guys and gals
-
Yea It is on the rsl side so if it blew out I might have a 2 out situation with a main still half attached. I just bought the rig from a guy and did not notice it until I got home.
-
I am, I was just bracing myself for a fall, wondering what you guys thought
-
The one I am thinking about has a purple rig, with her name on the left MLW, and kept playing with her hair lol
-
This is one of the rings off of the release. It is only frayed on one side, and only on one riser. I say frayed, but Does it HAVE to be replaced or is ok?
-
If it is the katie I am thinking of she is REALLY good looking and nice!
-
Yea it is a joke, I took a observation ride at san marcos, so I credited myself with half a skydive
-
I did not have anyone around to see my position, but I proally was a bit head low
-
All that being said I had to make 1 aff jumps a month for 2 months then 2 the next month, and 3 the following month. I passed all levels without failing one. I read the manuel every week, practiced emergency procedures, and read alot here. I also got the skydivers handbook and read it once a month for fun. If you decide to wait, just stay motivated and keep in mind it kicks ass! Chad
